I don't think people should forget the fact that this quest (and other so-called blah updates) might lead to better stuff in the future. I could definitely see the Varrock Secret Guard being involved in an enjoyable and challenging quest sometime down the road.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Time and time again, I've seen Jagex insert things into the game far ahead of a significant update that makes it useful. Part of the challenge just might be getting through.

well at least it gives decent RC xp considering the short time ataken to complete the quest

Hehe, just got a cool glitch. After beating up Roald with my anchor and veiwing the cutseen, I now seem to hold in with one hand like you would in a free server.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Even if I attack something it does the normal attack animation and then reverts back to holding it one handed.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

now that I look at it it looks like a kunai knife and a pick axe combined.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I know a glitch of how to do that whenever you want, with any 2 handed weapon. :wink:

OT... i like the quest.. i can make more chaos to get from 37 to 44 rc sso i can finnaly make nats and the great profit.

And you guys are complaining?? What do you want? Whips and god armor on every update? With almost weekly updates, maybe not having such high expectations for every one might help you enjoy them more.

But I'm jumping on right now and doing the quest. I was too lazy to click on the spoiler tags, so I"m going in blind. Which will probably turn a 20 minute quest into a 2 hour I-need-thread?? quest.

The only trouble you might get is finding the Outlaws...thats it.

In case anyone was interested, I get an average time of 2 mins 15 for a chaos run using cw tele --> balloon --> 'shortcut' --> altar --> cw. 3x super energy doses and 1x willow required for each run (and enlightened journey + varrock + cw(?) balloon route unlocked).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I'll stick to laws.
