2/10 for my school as it my lunch time is only 30 minutes, the lessons times are riduculous they range from 30 minute lessons to 1 hour 30 minutes, the rules have been taken to an extreme now and the headteacher has made changes like this every year I've been there and not once has it been good. I don't have a job either which also sucks.

I'd say 8/10. I'm doing a national diploma in media moving image at college which I enjoy but we have constant assignments and deadlines to work to.

Current School: 9/10

Current Job: 5/10

Job: Poor pay, I seem to get treated worse than a lot of the people there (though, oddly, I get better shifts). Everyone their is mistreated. The only reason I don't quit is I need the money, and I can't risk not having a job for a while. I could look for a new one while I work, but I really don't have time or energy. I mean, some days I'm happy enough there, sometimes it's like hell.

School is pretty great though. Very easy.

Unfortunately, I have no plans. I'm in senior year. Had I taken the correct prerequisites, I could pretty much do whatever I want, whereever I want (within reason; pretty well everything in Ontario. I'm not Harvard material). But I have no interests. I don't want to be a doctor or an engineer like many of my colleages. So I applied for history, and am probably going to go to the closest possible university for it (I got accepted to all 3 places I applied). I might take a business minor, or a double major, or completely switch it up once I get there.

I've always been about keeping my options open (with a double major history/business I could do a lot of things...law, teaching, business). Unfortunately I have no real will to do anything; I just know I want/need a career. And the thing is, out of the 2 leading candidates for universities I want to go to: 1 is a tiny, average kind of school where I could likely get better history AND business education - the other a larger, nicer place that offers limited history and average business education.

I work at a small local television station in my town.

I edit on my own ours, and occasionally film in studio live shows, and on location shows. They pay is terrible, but I value free time over money.

After working 3 dead end mind warping corporate jobs (KB TOYS, RITZ CAMERA, PETsMART) in the last 2 years, it really makes me not take my new local job for granted. I no longer have to say, sorry i can't hang out with my friends because I have to work. Or sorry guys i have to hit the sack to be up to stock shelves at the store at 3am. The difference is so much better.

I don't make a lot at all. im 20 and make around $5,000-$6000 a year, which is considered extreme poverty. However I get $155/m in food stamps, and I live in a 5 bedroom house with 7 other friends that is $750/m so I really don't pay to much in living expenses when the gas, internet, electricity and rent are divided up. My car just died recently, and I sold what was left of it, and I try to ride my bike to work everyday, which is a not bad at all 2 1/2 miles from where I live. I don't think I could afford to have a decent vehicle, but i love biking. burn calories, not hydrocarbons! cars suck anyways.

haha thankyou for reading my lifestory.

I'm poor but happy.

Crappy poor school. We got a sweet new building, but oh wait it was for the Freshman :| . We get crappy old buildings. None of my teachers can teach at all since half of them are coaches and thats all they worry about and my English teacher is an old hag. Pretty much can't find a job anywhere since all the old people left which is really good, but really bad since there is WAY less business.

I'm 20 also and made $14,000 last year, which I think is still under the poverty level. It sucks, but since I live with my parents rent/water/electric/food is all taken care of by just giving them $200 a month, which is a lot (a lot lot) cheaper than living somewhere else. I do pay for the internet ($45/month) which they mooch off of, but it's not enough to complain about considering how well I have it.

If only we got somthing as intresting as fighting in school..............

unfortunately, where I go to school has no violence whatsoever so theres nothing intresting like that around. Everyone is annoyingly tolerant and well behaved, and well it would be nice to get some more interesting situations. The best we get is stupid teacher situations like mixing ammonia and bleach or stupid things. Victor, you should possibly change your location? Its on a artificial island in the middle east, a little different from outside of detroit.

To tell the truth I excell at all subjects but I'm very, VERY crappy at math so I took off 3 points.

1/10, school sucks.

8/10. I bury people, don't meet too many ladies with my profession. The job is easy more than half the time though.
:uhh:

My rating would be much lower if I were you. My rating is 6 or 5 out of 10, not interesting, didn't get into a school I wanted to go to, can't think of a way to get all the other people at this school to remember me when I'm gone. Except the teachers. They will definately remember me...

Your place can't be that bad if Colbert supports it :P

That's because we have an eagle for a mascot. :P

But yeah, I love the publicity he's bringing us, plus, with his power he even brought Canada some publicity with his Colbert Day in Oshawa. :)

Weird, my old school Cocalico Had an eagle as the mascot

I later moved to the Reading school district but I was an eagle for a while

Why dosent the funny liberal comedian like my school :(

Anyway I;d say 7/10

School: Not in college at the second, Im waiting for my deployment.

Job: Well I was working at Cosco but now I've been sent to spy on the North Koreans with really big satelites. :D

Social: Lots of friends, great girlfriend, but Im gonna lose em for a year while at Pearl harbor

Future: HAWAII baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then im going to go to Delaware State for college

Where I Live: Well I live in a beautiful property in a not so beautiful city. Theres an awful lot of gang activity from New York gangs spreading out in our area

:uhh:

My rating would be much lower if I were you.

Really? The burying part sucks a lot, but overall it's a pretty good job. That's why I am giving it an 8/10 right now.

meh...i'd give mine a 7/10... I am still in school and have a part time job which is well paid, if a little boring. Where i stay, you need to be on the lookout for neds/chavs/delinquents/whatever you wanna call em, when you are out with friends as it takes nothing to anger them and it wouldn't be the first time i have been chased... :ohnoes:

Pretty much, if you want a stamina or fitness test, come to my area, where a 2 mile run with a clan of bloodthirsty neds behind you is anything but weird...

Uni is ace but I'll be much happier next semester when I no longer have to content with maths or physics units. I just learnt that I don't actually need a pass in the maths class I'm in at the moment which is a weight off my shoulders. I'm seriously horrible at statistics. :wall:

8/10 for school. Same old, same old. I don't mind it, but it really isn't all that much to brag about.

9/10 for work. I work 15 hours a week during school, 40 or more during the summer. Fresh air and money, good combination.

I really wouldn't call it an era. It was more of a definitive time period during which dinstinctive characteristics were expressed in similar ways.

I hate high school because the teachers suck. They don't really care about teaching the material and instead waste everybody's time by assigning stupid artsy projects that don't relate at all to the subject so that they don't have to teach. But the worst part is nobody cares about learning, so everyone else is in support of doing all this crap.

I give it a 3/10 only because recently I've been having a good social life and school is mostly for socializing nowadays.

2/10

I'm home-schooled, and all my home-school friends either moved a way or lost touch. The only people outside my family that I talk to at all are some fellow home-schoolers in my math class, but that's only twice a week and I don't like many of them anyway. So most of my social life is over the internet :( Only activities I have going are schooling, the TV, Guild Wars, RS and math. I keep trying to write the book that's been bouncing around in my head since Dec '05, but that blank page keeps scaring me away. In other words, I really need to get things sorted out.

the teachers are fun and great its the idiots kids in my classes that ruin it. there are 3 over sensitive blacks kids (im black too) that think just because something happens to them its racism, people think my friends and I are wasting money on magic cards and one described it as "how can you have fun with those little 2x4 pieces of cardboard as if they were any different than normal playing cards and yeah.... everyones a jerk...
