What Do You Think......

What do you think is the most useful/used stat!? [Excluding Melee]

And, what do you think the most unuseful* stat is?

I think the most used stat is either Fishing, Cooking, or Mining!

Least useful I think would be Firemaking....

What about YOU?

I dont need a siggy no moar.

Most usefull stat is probably Runecrafting.

Less usefull..Yeah well Firemaking.

Some people dream of success, while others make it happen.

Most usefull stat is probably Runecrafting.

Less usefull..Yeah well Firemaking.

Agreed, without Runecrafting, mages would pay tons for their runes

That's very true, but dont forget if there was no mage stat, there would be no Runecrafting, they sorta rely on eachother,

While Cooking, can rely on fishing but not always,

Firemaking's just stupid and relys on woodcutting,

So well. Yea...

I dont need a siggy no moar.

i wouls have to say that the most important skill for me is cooking

and the least important is farming

How dare you say that about farming! Farming helps woodcutting! And cooking! Farming is the BEST stat to me.

Also, I dont really think construction is even needed, though I think its a good attribute

Most used is cooking and fletching, probably just 'coz people want a skill cape.

Most useful to me is fishing. EDIT: Agility is definatly useful. even though mines only 47 i plan on getting 99..One day.

Un-useful is definatly firemaking. o_0;; whats so amazing about lighting a log on fire, when you can do it at lvl 1 firemaking anyway. xS talk about wetardayshun.

Life sucks, then you die.

Most useful: mining or runecrafting. Without mining there wouldn't be ores to smith into bars to smith into armor to use in combat. Without runecrafting there would be alot less players with 99 magic. Plus all would rely on NPC shops to buy runes, like in old times.

Most useless: firemaking. No point in that skill, apart from fulfilling a pyromaniac urge in yourself and burning a few shades for splitbark armor. 99 firemaking ftl <3:

Most useful:

Hard to say. Without magic we would have to walk a lot, without smithing some armours would be really hard to get and so on. Yet I'll say farming; without it herblore would be a lot harder to train, potions would be harder to get in big amounts and so on.

Least useful:

firemaking, duh.

I'd rather die for what I believe in than live for anything else.

In firemakings defense, I belive there is a reqirment for hot air ballons, and there are cvertain members dungeons that reqire a light source, from firemaking. So really it is more usefull to members than you give it credit. Note, I do know thios is a f2p board, and no I am not a member and never was.

Magic is the only most important skill and useful for many purposes.

Strangely with WotLK so near, I wished I could delay it a bit to push through that last TBC content in MH/BT :'(.

Most- agility

Least- hunter

You just defeated the point of your thread by proving there is NO best skill.

Its all a matter of opinion.

Quest cape obtained at combat level 83, march 07.

Personally, my most used skill is fishing/cooking. The most unuseful skill to me are any members only skills, due to the fact that i'm a f2p.

Most, Agility used in almost every action.

Least, Firemaking.

645th to 99 Agility.

I'm always up for a good chat, feel free to pm.

99 Ranged on 2/6/07 99 Hit Points on 9/5/08 99 Defense on 26/4/08 99 Attack on 14/2/09 99 Strength on 25/2/09 99 Slayer on 13/9/09\:D/

best is mining and smithing

least is firemaking since its quite boring

Most useful - Magic

Otherwise, we would spend over half our time just wandering from place to place, not being able to teleport to most places, and it can be used for combat and to aid non combat skills (with lunar magics)

Least useful - Firemaking

Most usefull-mining

most unusefull-Firemaking.

Add me if you so wish: SwreeTak

most useful - woodcutting

least useful - firemaking (but i still like it none the less)

There's no such thing as "wireless." Just really long extension cords.

I would say the most used stats (aside from melee) would be the "Click and Forget" skills such as woodcutting, fishing, cooking etc...

I would say the most useful skill, in terms of profit would be runecrafting.

The least used skill is likely Hunting, since it has very few uses and the areas are too crowded (and is generally a bad experience due to this fact)

Most useful - Magic, Fishing/Cooking combo. Think of how many things magic can do for you. From teles, to combat magic to battle, to spells to help with crafting. This skill can do it all. Fishing because I believe it supplies atleast 90% of the food used during combat in one way or another and who doesn't enjoy combat every now and then?

Least useful - Firemaking. Although I eventually plan to get 99 cause the emote rocks, it doesn't have many in game uses these days.

Most useful, in my opinion is probably cooking...

Least useful would probably be either thieving or slayer...
