He started his business in a different time and has around 800 million now and was wondering if it was possible.

 

 

 

Now remember when phats were maxing at around 50mil. A lot of people got them back then and still have them mainly because it is much harder to get the required money now due to the rise in prices.

i chose 4 months because most of us here have decent lives and are busy so don't say "4 months of playing 12hours a day doing [insert job]"

I believe its possible, but you'd have to get some lucky merching breaks, and be able to access high selling objects (such as rune mining). It is possible imo.

If you would Barrow with Guthan's 3-4 hours a day, and only would do Barrows it would be possible.

Give us some more information? Skills levels? If you have 91 runecrafting, it's totally possible.

Yes, it's possible. The best merchants for example can make enough money to buy a new phat in relatively short time. Good staker might need one night to get materials to stake and a little starting bet which he then puts to grow. It's hard, but it's far away from impossible. With skills it'll most likely take months, but still: it's possible. I personally worked with skills and managed to make 98m to buy a purple phat like 10 months ago.

I brought my total value from like 30m to 140m to buy a purple hat quite recently. Didn't even merchant or stake. So yeah, it's possible.

Get Papyrus, 10 Spools of Thread, a Needle, use them all together and you get an "Uncolored Partyhat" then use Blue Dye from Aggie the Witch and you have a Blue Partyhat from scratch! :wink:

If you have lives I don't think it's possbile.

I'm pretty sure that if you merchant a few hours a day you can do it within 4 months by merchanting.

I'm sure you could make a decent staker in under 4 months. However, winning enough is a different story.

Yeah I'm sure you can get it. I'd spend a month, getting around 7 clues a day. Hoping for 3rd age, I'll know I won't get, doesn't matter. :P

 

Then woodcut a lot, maybe do barrows and Dk, you surely will be busy. :)

You an earn a mil an hr guarenteed with 91 rc abyss rcing. Much nmore with enough runners to make it worth while at the nat/law altar tho.

Very possible. Though harder. But really, I prefer to have a decent good looking outfit and all my skills up a tad, then a hat on my head :-k I know it requires hard work and a lot of patience. Which I do not find worth it.

 

 

 

I think if you DO find it worth it. All the time and effort, then you have a much greater chance to do it. But it would require skills. Actual 99's or 91's ;) or merchanting skills, DK'ing skills, KQ' skills. Barrows skills. YOu name it... you will need it :

2. Merchanting Fast Risky

 

 

 

3. Skilling Slow Not Risky

 

 

 

Note: You need some money to start both 1 and 2 so must skill for it.
