Fairness
I say all the power to you, get rid of this problem and you would be a legend to all fair f2p characters. I don't know why jagex hasn't thought of something like this. YAY That would make a nice rule. Rule 14: You may not woodcut using a level 3, 4, or 5 charecter in defult clothing. or Rule 14: To woodcut you must be at least combat level 15 and not be wearing defult clothes. Go for it.Dude, you're an idiot #-o That would, first of all, ruin skillers... Second of all, you must realize that these macroers had to (macro or legit) get up to 60 woodcutting just to get to cut yews...getting 15 combat wouldn't stop them at all... Drink a cup of sarcasm before continuing. \ You're being watched. hot_mountain
I've tried reporting a few, never gets banned No, I really don't play anymore.
Sem_Nome
Good idea 'o' you should try and contact jagex  Jagex could make like "Mod_Report1" and use your script on it :P it would be like a NPC rolling down the streets of Macroers
hahaha900
This script was made to get rid of those chinese bots. Its because leechers buy the bot for a few dollars and ruin the whole game. 'Good' autoers dont do those things, because they are limited.
Made0f12une
The reason why macroing is against the rules, is because it gives players an unfair advantage. My script however does not. Even though it still is macroing, logically there should be an exception, because it doesn't violate the reason WHY macroing is not allowed. It is an unfair advantage because if you aqquire the PMod status (which it is most likely you will) then you'll have an advantage over other players ;) ^^ClicK^^"I backed my car into a cop car the other dayWell he just drove off sometimes life's ok...Alright already we'll all float onAlright don't worry we'll all float on" - Isaac BrockDays Hunting:4 - Kingly Imps Caught:2Money Earned: 4.5-5m
miniscooter
Well, you'd have to make sure you don't put the macro in defult clothing itself else it'll report itself. I know my sig is random, but hey!
Iamdan
It is an unfair advantage because if you aqquire the PMod status (which it is most likely you will) then you'll have an advantage over other players Wink Firstly I doubt I would be made a mod, as I would use it on a throwaway account (for precautions) and would not try to hide the fact that I would be macroing. Once jagex figures it out I guess they can decide whether to ban me or not, they just wouldn't make me a mod. Anyway, being a player mod is only an advantage if you are a 10 year old and like shiny things. Mods are constantly hounded by idiots, what a big advantage. When trading, even though their name stands out, they still their time wasted with "u haxed a silver phat reported!!!" "howdo u grt a ceown" and every bodies favorite: "fr33 st0ffs pl0z". Even people trading and declining, just so they can have a screen shot trading with a mod. Wow, if I was constantly hounded by morons I would definitely use that to my advantage. If only there were one...
l0rdbarney
HAHAHAHA. thats interesting. but nonetheless, its a macro. maybe try selling it to jagex?? :P ya seriously, sell to jagex but if i were u, who cares, with 1 rule break u end like 50 rule breakers, good trade and also ur not doing anything wrong, hope this catches on so that there are macro reporting bots everywhere \ pure:demon_x_king
Iamdan
HAHAHAHA. thats interesting. but nonetheless, its a macro. maybe try selling it to jagex?? :P ya seriously, sell to jagex I doubt jagex would be interested in an auto reporter, when they could make an auto banner. hope this catches on so that there are macro reporting bots everywhere \ Hmm, I guess I could give it to people who I think are intelligent enough to use it, if I had permission from the staff here. Probably won't happen though because it's still a macro, and there is the whole thing about if someone got their stuff stolen, or their computer messed up, they could blame tip.it and/or myself. Dragontotem
Veeeery interesting. Mind you, since I'm on F2P at the moment, I report macros just because I'm bored. And hey, maybe someday they'll make me a mod for it.... been doing the same thing for 2 years, i still don't see a lil silver crown... :boohoo: Id like to point out that you need to do other stuff than just report macroers to get that crown... [/url]">[4Th in Finland to achieve 99 mining. 3Rd of June 2007]Pixels make me horny. Captainkidd
If you marco then your just like them, dosn't matter if your doing good or not. Its like trying to scam scammers just because they scammed don't mean its right to scam them.
Bard_Bow_Man
I like your idea; however, Jagex probabley won't. Remeber, jagex bans main accounts too if they can associate them with a macroes(s). We tried using an abyssal whip to 'suggest' they work faster
jessy87
if your going to try it, i suggest you use a proxy server so that your IP address would be anonymous to jagex for the autoing reporting account. do with the information as you wish. i merely offered advise if you do decide to follow thru with it. if any1 says im breaking a rule, honestly die. chris_0076
that is a very neat idea... but i guess i would be against the rules.... but i mean what should Jagex care it is just 1 rule broken to end thousands. n8myton
I'm not here to condemn the idea, seems like it would be nice if it were effective, but bear in mind Jagex isn't going to care a whole lot about your intentions if you're caught macroing. Do as you wish i suppose, but as bard_bow_man said, Jagex can ban your IP from making new accounts/playing if it sees a lot of macroing accounts from it. jagex bans main accounts too if they can associate them with a macroes(s). Id like to point out that you need to do other stuff than just report macroers to get that crown... True. That would, first of all, ruin skillers... go for it, sacrifice 1 to destry 100 of them is worth it Wouldn't you be pissed if you were that one? While it is possible to get banned incorrectly as many can attest to, Jagex doesn't ban people just because someone reported you, their system is a little more complex than that. taking a break

vitaoma
I think that you have to do the things you think that are right, not the things that people say it is right. For example, if you think it is gonna help many people, go ahead and risk it being banned. If you don't think it is worth the risk, don't. I thought of it before, but I didn't have a script and thought it would be too weird to post here.
swordwarior
i would say don't use it, not because the situation is fine but because i think jagex is well aware of the problem. Sending them all those reports of people they already know are autoing will only slow down cs and make the game worse.
