April 30, 200719 yr Author That doesn't matter, jogging will do. You just have to push youself and maintain a healthy heartbeat. The best way to do so is by going to the gym and using a treadmill they have special cardio programms that work intune to you and set the pace you need to run/jog at and time period. so no biking then...? or are you saying thta like sports involving runing also work like soccer or football?
April 30, 200719 yr Biking works, it is probably not as effective though. Sports like soccer while they push you its an uneven push. You need to maintain the heartbeat and cool down yourself afterwards. With so many trees in the city you could see the spring coming each day until a night of warm wind would bring it suddenly in one morning. Sometimes the heavy cold rains would beat it back so that it would seem that it would never come and that you were losing a season out of your life. But you knew that there would always be the spring as you knew the river would flow again after it was frozen. When the cold rains kept on and killed the spring, it was as though a young person had died for no reason. In those days though the spring always came finally but it was frightening that it had nearly failed.

April 30, 200719 yr I usually do 200-300 a day when i don't go to the gym. I can't see why people who are not overweight could not do 100. I kind of want to try this weight thing now. 100 situps meaning 100 situps. with your feet fully against your arse, not using your arms at all whatsoever, and raising yourself up with your chin almost ontop of your knees for a short wile. Im not talking about crunches. 200 - 300 crunches is incredibly easy. Anyway 100 situps is still easy that way. I'm just assuming the author of this topic can barely do 30, since he didnt even know how to develop the muscle in the first place. Apologies to the author if he is actually a very strong individual. gee thanks... and btw i can do 30... i know that sit ups work on yoru stomcahc muscle but im asking if theres like a better or easier way... Thats why i wrote that at the end. I didnt mean to offend you, but you wrote "how to get a 6 pack", making it sound something along the lines of immediate gratification, as if you wanted a 6 pack in a hurry and never really worked out before. If the title was "most efficient way to develop abdominal muscle", or even good ways to work out your stomach, I would have thought that you were an experienced person. I apologize for offending you and making assumptions.

May 1, 200719 yr Crunches/situps. And then run alot so that when you actually get one it won't be hidden behind fat. wut does running do?Running will burn off the fat on your stomach covering your abs, if you have them. You can do crunches/sit-ups. I advise on getting a workout machine, they work nicely. Or go to a gym. Don't do them three times a week, and the next week do it twice or whatever. Try to do them as much as you can . You won't see instant results, but you'll eventually gain muscle. You can also find something to hold your legs up and do crunches upside down hehe. (You hang down with something holding your front ankle, and behind your calf). Those are pretty hard though My best advice: Don't quit, even if you don't get them. You might not gain muscle, but you'll feel better and lose some fat while you're at it. O:)

May 1, 200719 yr Why would you want a 6-pack? In my opinion they look ugly... Anyways you work out and lift a lot. I wonder who doesn't have a six pack... :-w . It's pretty much been said, do sit-ups with weights. I did a lot of sit-ups last summer with Varsity soccer training, so I'm content with the six undefined bumps on my stomach :P . Well, my top two are defined, but my bottom two are like one melded bump.. >_<. May 1, 200719 yr When you guys say running...would me running around the block 2-3 times a night be a good way to start? Or should I do it like 4-5? May 1, 200719 yr I have a 6 pack... All I do is 30 situps (to the side, so you only use half of your abs, then you do it to the other side. 30 situps on the left, 30 situps on the right, total of 60 situps. They are way harder than those you do to straight up, after about 10-15 you start feeling the burn.) Oh, I also go outside every day, practice parkour with my friends. That's about it. :anxious:

May 1, 200719 yr Having low body fat is just as important as actually having good abs for getting a 6-pack.

If you have a lot of weight to lose/are very inactive you'd probably have to start smaller. If not, just go as long as you can, and make sure to walk it off before just going and laying down/whatever. But you don't have to run even, you could walk. Still gets the job done.
