I didnt realized that when i paid $9 and waited 3 hours for a 2 1/2 long movie itd be some sobby chick flick. At least we got some comic relief every once in a while, with people yelling at MJ about being a skank and laughing at the most inopurtune times (had a roudy crowd in the theater). That, with some action sprinkled every half hour, made it tolerable enough to make my butt sore for nearly 3 hours.

I thought it was funny how Toph (Eric in the 70's show) Played Eddie Brock/ Venom.Of ALL THE PEOPLE.

Sandman's role was done nicely, even though some of the graphic animation was iffy.

I thought it was a good movie despite all the movie critiques saying it wasn't. I stopped listening to movie critiques years ago, if I see a movie that looks appealing, I'll go see it and make up my own mind on it. I thought this movie was great! Some people look too closely at it when its just meant to be entertaining with neat special effects. I haven't seen a movie critique give any movies good ratings in as long as I can remember.

Evil Peter Parker is far and away the most engaging portion of the film. omfg well it wasnt the best but it was pretty good... they should have made venom appear alot more... i think they didnt show him cuz it was too expensive for his grafics...and they made him all buf in parts like when he stants over mj in the taxi on the black webs... he was all like rawrrr im hugh and ur not... but then in other parts they make him look like carnage when he first meets up with sandman...i was like wtf is that spiderman with the venom crap on him again???

 

 

 

overall if u like spiderman u should c it if u havent already... but if ur just in it to see a new movie dont go c it...

I thought it was a great movie, the only things i didnt like were: the last fight was kinda cheasy and that venom was very poorly developed, and so was the guy that venom took over after he left spidey.

I was ready to be disappointed after reading all of your reviews. After looking for a seat in a theater packed full of kids that were very rowdy, I was even more expecting to not enjoy this. After the first hour or so of not all that great (not bad though) of a movie, I was pretty much at the bottom of the barrel for expectations. For some reason though it just started to get better, and better, and better. I was pretty damned happy with it by the end. Don't know if I like it as much as the others, but I did like it.

And complex? What? Complex? Seriously? These people must be used to a TV diet of Big Brother and various other cerbral destruction shows. It's not in the least bit complicated, not by any stretch of the imagination.

 

 

 

Effects : 9/10 a bit dodgy at first, but the Sandman is increadible and so is Venom.

 

Plot : 5/10 not the best and you have to read the comics to fully interpret where the new characters come from. To many, Venom landing right next to Peter and MJ is happenstance.

 

Acting : 2/10 pretty awful really. Cheesy and overdramatic. I was embarrassed at times.

 

 

 

Overall : 6/10. Not as good as the second one, but better than the first, in my humble opinion of course. ;)

I thought the effects were great. But the plot was horrible. Just horrible. They tried to squeeze three stories in one, the story was all messed up. There was long, cheesy useless parts.

Anyone else thought that the black version Spiderman with Peter Parker actually looked more stylish and overall cool he danced...had awesome hair, the girls loved him.. he actually used his skills to beat up people..

 

 

 

 

 

And how weird is this; At the end they have a huge funeral for the guy with no family and like one friend...and they don't give a mention about the other guy that died/went away the nerdy photographer...so that leaves me to think there will be spiderman4... and what happened to the sand guy...he just flew away... and the fighting was stupid at the end first it was 2 v 2 (spider man + Jane V Sand guy and nerd photographer) so the bad guys are winning...THEN the bachelor finds the perfect timing to tell his master that actually his father killed himself...wow what are the odds..? Wana know more strange odds.. what are the odds that the nerdy photographer guy would be at the same church, same time as Spiderman... unless there is only one church in NYC...and would ask God to kill Peter.. and then hear screaming and instead of leaving end up walking through a door and looking up like 100meters to recognize Peter Parker and wow the black oil stuff was bullet-proof...but a bit of music and it (bad word here) itself... It would have been 2/10 had it not been for Spiderman saying 'Lay one on me' and Spiderman turning bad part

Spider Man 1:

 

-This one wasn't too bad, actually, Spider Man 3 is the worst offender.

 

 

 

Spider Man 2:

 

-Doctor Octopus was misrepresented at some times as a caring guy.

 

-MJ was Peter Parker's 5th grilfriend, as opposed to his first as implied in this movie.

 

 

 

Spider Man 3:

 

-Eddie Brock is supposed to be a huge guy that hates Peter Parker.

 

-Sandman isn't the guy that killed Uncle Ben.

 

-Gwen Stacy was Peter Parker's grilfriend previous to MJ, unlike in the movie where Peter cheats on MJ. Also this isn't what makes Eddie angry at Peter - what sets off Eddie is when Peter uncovers that Eddie's report on a murder case was false, and these new facts brought Eddie's career to an end. Eddie was praying in a church for forgiveness for hating Peter so much, and the symbiote that was the "black suit" happened to be residing in that church after Peter was able to remove it with the noise of the church bells, where it bound to Eddie and created Venom. *deep breath*

i loved it, but it doesn't deserve all the ridicule it's been getting, IMO it's the best of the three. Most complaints i've read.heard about is that there are too many characters, and it jumps between storylines too much. I think it's only because a majority of ppl don't know or haven't read the in-depth things about spider-man (books, comics, etc.), and they find it hard to catch on. That's something that drives me crazy too, ppl who look at certain franchises that are unfortunately known mostly for their movies as just that- a movie. Examles: star wars & comic book heros. things like thses are not movies... but a way of life :wink:

I watched it a week ago and it's so crowded.

 

 

 

I like the new black spiderman. Tobey Maguire and Kristen Dunst now has more talent than they had in the past. As an overall 10/10.
