Lightning

Recommended Posts

Ok mages in runescape have the choice of Fire, Water, Earth, and Wind. What about those little groupd of people who live sparks? love lightning? Wouldn't it be kind of cool to add some sparks into the spells though?

Add it in every mage category. It would be like the other spells, and you would need lighting runes (an also made idea). It may take some work, but I think it would be a spunky idea.

If you love lightnign then you love this.... I like it, if you support say why and any upgrade ideas you have to suggest, and if you do not support. Just say why and changes you would make.

Are you a member? I would say Saradomin Strike is lightning, and lightning isn't an element is it?

Oh why don't we make solar runes aswell?

Maybe rain spells.

Oh wait, they both suck, like your idea.

solar runes are like fire runes, because they are based on the principle of heat.

rain spells are water spells. that one is easy.

i support your idea, but it has been suggested before, and nothing happened.

Lightning is NOT superheated air. You are thinking of plasma, which is different. Plasma is a component of what causes lightning, but it isn't lightning.

And the Magic of Runescape is based on four of the five Western Elements: Air, Water, Earth, Fire, and Ether (which isn't in Runescape). Lightning was not considered an Element then.

Although I would not object to adding Lightning Spells to Runescape. They could be based on Chaos and Fire Runes or something...

Yeah Saradomin strike is a really strong lightning spell. I was doing a level 3 clue scroll yesterday (my first one) and I got a coordinate scroll in the desert and was attacked by a "Saradomin follower" needless to say, I learned the hard way that it hits high.

You're saying that fire is?

Rofl... The chances of Jagex releasing another basic rune isn't very high if you ask me... And what is ether :S.

Ether seems to be an oxygen athom connected to two alkyl groups. Basically, I think it's something like carbon, hydrogen and such.

This is off-topic i think but well I just answered to myself and another person.

usually it's spelled "aether" and it has two definitions.

this first one, you were pretty right about. basically, aether was believed to be the substance which filled the region of the universe above the terrestrial sphere. space, basically.

the second one, however, would help mortifyer's point greatly. the other name for aether, Quintessence, was thought be pure energy. Its force is imagined to be like a lightning.

Sooo if jagex was going with the five greek elements, they would have reasoning to add lightning spells to the game. therefore we deduce that they weren't following any mythological elements and just sat down at a tablle one day and said "here's the four elements - fire, water, earth, and air. go suck on it, greeks."

or something like that.

has anyone considered the possibility that lauren1211 is homosexual? anyone, anyone at all?
