I've often thought if I ever saw a small group of people beating up some poor bloke for no reason and I was insane/drunk enough, I'd go in there and expect to seriously hurt them to get it through thier thick ignorant skulls that it's not funny or cool or whatever other pathetic excuse they can come up with. This is the real sadist coming out in me, but I'd take pleasure in making life hell for any and all people like that. I'd go so far as to be the next Hitler and them the new Jews if need be.

Good for him. Personally, I would have done it without the gun part, just to maintain a level of aura and not look like some trigger happy hick, but I'm glad he managed to stick up for himself.

That's reffering to you preventing the injury of someone. I'd rather hurt the criminals if they were hurting someone, then let them get away with blatant violence.

To fire a warning shot after you've prevented a fight is moronic. The guy was attacked & he sorted it, he should have left it there. The only thing that he did by shooting "warning" shots was to make a bigger issue and somebody could have ended up dead, the 3 men might have over-reacted about the parking thing but he took it to another level by being trigger happy.

I think it's illegal to shoot guns in a public area without justification. What your neighbour did was not awesome, both parties were in the wrong.

Sure he didn't need to shoot off the gun, that was a little excessive. But it was right of him to keep the people there anyway possible, for the police to come pick them up. They assaulted a man over a parking space. If they want to settle disagreements like animals, they should be treated like animals.

 

 

 

Shooting straight up in the air isn't all that safe either. In rural areas it's not that big of a deal, might be a bigger deal in a suburban area. A bullet falling from the air won't have as much force as coming from the gun because there is a certain velocity that a falling object can get up to and it is less. Still, it is enough to kill someone.

 

 

 

When talking about gun safety with my dad while shooting he always told me to keep the gun pointed up in case it accidentally went off, we live in a pretty rural area so there weren't many worries about it falling and hitting someone.

Because the OP is white. If the OP is black, he would probably have referred to his neighbour as white. People always use racial adjectives to use someone of a different race because otherwise it's assumed they are of the same race.

Well, to be fair, it's illegal in a lot of places, I'm not sure about the law where he lives, but that law is very justified.

 

 

 

The things with guns is that taking it further means pulling a trigger. If one of the black guys decided to do something rash, who knows what anger might have made the man do.
