Got WT about a week ago, and i must say it is awesome. I am loving the music studio (ability to make your own songs) and theres some pretty cool songs. I actully beet it today, just the last gig, i havnt played everysong quite yet.

 

 

 

Oh, i played TTFATF today (hard) and i almost beet it, when before i couldnt get past the intro . :

Friend got WT (Wii version). His drums broke two days after and he's whining he has to pay for shipping to get em fixed.

I sightread every song I've played in WT so far, but finally failed at Mr. Crowley. I mean, damn man, I even made it through the Jimi Hendrix stuff in one go, and I thought that was crazy. And I got a 913 note streak in Schism. :

The Tool songs are all so easy. Schism is a likely canditate for an FC soon, if I can nail that [bleep]ery at the end.

 

 

 

Speaking of [bleep]ery, I missed FC'ing Livin' On A Prayer because the solo caught me by surprise. I hate descending triplets. -2. Bah.

 

 

 

FC's so far: About A Girl, Obstacle 1, The One I Love, Today, What I've Done, Monsoon, and Float On. All really easy. Hoping to FC Hotel California soon. And others, but I forget which charts are easiest lol.

I went back to Gh3 some more and apparently I've gotten better at alt strumming :s

I'd prolly never be able to do anything on expert with a PS3 controller, the buttons "click" on the 360, keeping my fingers from sliding off the buttons.

 

 

 

I'm prolly the weakest at chords on a standard controller, but HOPO's I am amazing at, you should see my fingers during some sequences.

Technically, you never use HOPOs when using a standard controller, because the controller strums every time you press one of the buttons. I think what he meant is that he can do fast HOPO sections (like scales and such) very well...

Tell him to take it back to the store he bought it from. The exact same thing happened to me and I just took it back to the store. Got a replacement for free. :

 

 

 

Of course if he bought it online it won't work....

Ok I'm still stuck on both, I think I'll leave RaBl for later to be honest, I just need help with One.

 

 

 

Ok so the song is cake up until FSA. I'm pretty good with alt-strumming so I can get 90%+ on the galloping greens beforehand which is no problem. I save up star power and the moment I hit the red I use it. Then I just stay in the red, I can't get out of it, and I haven't seen past FSC. Should I practice for FSB and onwards because that's probably where I will struggle.

 

 

 

I'm also practicing tapping by doing CoP on slow or on hard and some trills by doing Impulse which I am hooked on now! :D

 

Also trying to get more 5-stars.

I'm not that good and I can nail FSB, so yes, you need to get good at it. Get good at FSC too, it's cake. Then just pass the easy ending.

I kee failing RaBl at 35%. Usually that's without star power, but sometimes I get it and fail at the same place :wall: I seem to have a good amount of notes in Mosh 1 hit, and I don't think I'm overstrumming too badly, so I don't know what it is....

Ugh, I just cannot beat Lou. :wall:
