From a guy who dosen't have many black/symph/thrash metal leanings, I'm find this very enjoyable. Seriously dude, it's better than alot of the metal I hear on radio (on a metal radio show I listen too). Great work and best of luck with it. :D

Most of all there is too little going all in the bass domain.

 

Some recording/mixing issues, that make the drums sometimes too dominant compared to the lead instruments.

Well we record entirely ourselves, and we don't have very good equipment. It was a struggle to get it to sound this good, believe me! haha

New song is up :) Nadril's opinion is what I'm looking for most here.

the best way to describe the new song: storm of the light's bane-era dissection fused with late (post-in the nightside eclipse) emperor. in all honestly, i'm not a fan, i loathe (perhaps just dislike sotlb) the aforementioned eras of those particular bands and a fusion just doesn't work for me. one complaint is perhaps the lack of originality that plagues 99.9% of most post-1996(?) metal bands but as a young band in an era (of metal) like this...it's just progress towards crafting your sound. either way, it's good to see someone referring back to the classics for a sound, but it didn't work for me personally. best of luck with your band though.

Just an update, we just posted our entire 4-song DEMO free for download. I know a lot of you guys enjoyed this so feel free to download the songs and let me know what you think!

I'm not into screamo-style lyrics (or whatever you wanna call your genre. it has to be so specific when it comes to metal :-# ) but i'm loving the guitar/keyboards/drums/bass. Sounds really awesome, especially the first song!
