*If* account sharing was legal...

...until someone gets greedy and steals it. Again, no way to trust RS friends, as until you cannot send a shock beam into their computers, they can't even be punished for it.

I've seen subjects close to this maaany times. I think the answer is quite simple. The ones who share account, already shares account regardless of the rules allow it or not. I don't think the situation would change much even if they made account sharing legal.
Actualy if it was legal I'd do it...

support new ghostly stuff here.

I see RuneScape slowly turning into a sadistic version of WoW.

.signature your as this use backwards this read to enough smart were you If

I wouldn't share my main as i've worked hard on it.

But i think i'd start a new char with one of my close friends and share it, that way if they changed pass i'd know who it was..

P2P offers more and better ways of making money than f2p. That's one of the cons you just have to play with if you don't feel like having 1 bigmac meal less per month.

No, I dont want to do all that work and then have my account stolen. Besides doing it all yourself gives you a greater feeling of accomplishment.

I don't think I would if I had gotten like 92 range then a friend did 92-99 for me the achievment would'nt be as good

Come to #tip-it on Swift IRC, if you're cool

i wouldn;t account share because i like to know everything mya ccount is doing so only me in control.

I would never share just for fear that the massive plans i come up with to achieve goals might be ruined by the other person playing on my account

I wouldn't share my account, but I'd share some of my newbier freinds accounts, just because its so easy to level up and see those level up screens =P~ .

I'd probably share with my brother or cousin or something. But not someone i met online.

Well when i've had a mate at my house who plays rs i've let him have a go on select (like playing castle wars or doing something on select he can't do on his own char). Im not bothered about getting a high level to loan out select to someone.

same, i dont wanna go on one day and see that i got cleaned at the dueling arena.

I think it would be ok if JaGeX allowed account sharing, as long as people did it at their own risk. I would not share my account with my best friend, I'm not saying he is not trustworthy, but just because my account resembles my attitude, my hard work, and my right or wrong-doings, it doesn't resemble my friend training me up to be " l33t ".

Those are my thoughts on account sharing.

F2P%20For%20Lyfe!!!.png

well this does sound like a good idea not! it's my own account i want to know what and why things happened

Account created on Weds, December 21st, 2005

99 cooking on December 12th, 2010. 99 Agility on September 30th, 2011. 99 Fletching on August 17th, 2012. 99 Prayer on March 22nd, 2016. 99 Farming on April 4th, 2016.

If it was allowed, I would do so with a close friend. We could alter train the character and have our own accounts to. Problem is, you won't have the same friends, but do on the same character..

Hmm, would be great to make a pure with a few people! Or any character actually. As all skills will be trained, as everyone likes something. Problem is, who trains when and ofcourse, what. Like logging in, realizing your doing slayer, while you wanted to farm a bit.

YES I WOULD SHARE

but only people that i know and trust.. say my brother for example.. or my friend down the street.. they are very trusting :)

Don't get me wrong, I'm quite happy its illegal.

I will never let someone use my account; I've put far too much effort into it to risk it.

I simply want to know how it would affect people's actions if it was indeed made legal.

160vy.png

I wonder about you sometimes jake...

I wouldn't. Don't want to risk it and I want to accomplish things myself, as has been said before.

Before account-sharing was outlawed, I did it. It was ok, actually. My friends trust me and I trust them.

I dont trust other people that much. Not only would I worry about a stolen account, but I'd worry that the other guy would do something stupid and lose items that I had earned. It would be nice to have someone make money for me, but I'll do it myself to keep my account safe.

but its not legal, and i am happy with that

and.....nooone takes my account! <3: *grabs a whip and gets ready to defend the acc from everyone and everything  *

Also, i tried farming once and my potatoes died, put me off forever.

no mainly because i dont know anyone who plays runescape personally, so i wouldnt trust anyone i just met randomly online...for all i kno he could be waiting for me to share then jump in and steal everything...some people cal it paranoid...others call it COMMON SENCE :-$

I wouldn't want anyone to touch my account, I'm proud of all the work I've done so far on my character.

No longer playing Runescape, I caught the WoW bug.
