The hotkeys are cool :thumbsup:

 

 

 

I hope this engine upgrade allows them to make some awesome updates in the future (like a new bank :pray: ).

 

 

 

Overall, a pretty nice update. The only part I don't like is how the chat moves back to the bottom whenever someone says anything (except, if you keep "holding" the scroll bar, it stay where you want it to so it's not quite as big a deal).

 

 

 

oh ya your right if you hold the scrolly thing it stays in the same spot

Now when you're at the loading screen after teleporting to your house, if you have your private chat above the caht screen, it will appear over the loading screen. Before you couldn't see your private chats until after your hosue is done loading :P

Not at all, as long as your last click/keyboard stroke was done in the game window (and not clicking somewhere on your browser) you send all of your commands to the Runescape game :), so no accidental refreshing.

 

 

 

Same thing goes for backspace, as long you dont click the browser pressing backpace wont make you go backward on your page history

I've noticed the backspace thing before, but I just retried using the hotkeys and I only got F1 through F1 before I got moved away from my page. :(

Click the F-Lock or the Scroll-Lock key. One of those will return normal functionality.

the biggest changes ive noticed are that several of the speed things have been changed along with the loading message being moved(ratrher like that one)

 

 

 

heres what i mean by speed things:

 

shop and bank screens take a bit to close, not too long but long enough to be noticible compaired to last night

 

the "blah blah x" boxes for skills have been lowered slightly from where you click

 

the sell 10 options in your invy have been lowered also so now insted of it falling on the second to last box it falls at the very bottom of your invy

 

a few other random anoyances that will just take time to get used to

OMG! Jagex completely ruined selling runes to shop ( now you have to move your mouse, not only click :( ).

It's Jagex's way of making people working hard to get onyx's again...

when u get a connection lost it appears in the top left corner now and it alittle blackbox so you dont know ur actually lagging , lol

All differences i have seen from the old engine was that 'loading' and 'connection lost' box at top left. :anxious:

 

 

 

So this update is so what ever for me.
