I got inspired (well not really) by the Channel V Show World's Wackiest Sports [it's an American (or Canadian) show, so others internationally should know about it) about pretty much wacky, abnormal and at times strange sports.

 

 

 

Although I'm not a big watcher of the show I've still gone and looked on the internet to see other strange yet weird sports. A quick search of the internet and I've found:

So I'm not alone? I try doing it with whatever I can. Calculator, pencil, pen, book, piece of wood, whatever. I guess it's kind of a habit.

In my boyscout days we invented a sport simply called 'spoon hockey'. All you need is two chairs, a tennis ball and a spoon for every player. It plays like field hockey, just use your spoons to get the tennis ball onto the chair. The only trick is that there are no defined boundaries to the field, and that it's full contact. Our favourite 'pitch' was a patch of forest that had a creek running through it about midway, creating a natural moat that the offensive team had to cross, along with a lot of low brushes and trees. You haven't lived until you've slammed your best friend into a garbage can just to get a tennis ball away from him :P The worst injury was a broken nose caused by a slightly overenthousiastic goalkeeper who decided that a lariat was a suitable solution for a charging opponent. The guy just set his nose and went back to playing, didn't even realize the nose was actually broken until two days later.

wow you guys sound alot better then i am, i just do simple little tricks, like twirl it through my fingers, but the things on that vid are way out of my leage, i need someone to teach me how to do it

mythbusters proved that you cant make a perfect 360 on a swing unless you had rockets straped onto you :ohnoes:

 

 

 

and by perfect i mean without the chain loosening
