It's still wrong to assume that someone who follows the trend also has the mentality.

Like I said if someone feels the need to call them self "emo" than I'm going to assume they have that mentality.

And if they, themselves never claimed to be emo, merely dressed the part?

Two roads diverged in a wood, and I-

I took the one less traveled by,

And that has made all the difference.

Than I wouldn't label them as such unless I saw them actually acting like that.

shut up you bloody chav why dont you go get your 12 year old girl frienf pregnant and then go fight a pointless gang war....moron

Thank you, sycosis5, for setting your people back a thousand years.

Basically, if you think you're better than the rest of humanity just because you dress like that and make crappy poetry, no-one will ever like you.

mssigqc5.jpgI do English to Japanese and Japanese to English translation for free! Just keep it under 5 sentences, and PM me to use my fluency in Japanese to your advantage!

I don't like emo's because they wear tight jeans, like seriously were not in the 60s, we're in the 21st century stop trying to put on some attention, wear normal things. They don't tend to have any other friends other then emo's, and try to look scary/ but they look stupid.

When I see an emo kid wearing a band T-shirt, I proudly display my own DragonForce shirt, just to let them know what real music is. =)

Well, okay, not really, but I have seen emo kids give me odd looks when I wear that DragonForce shirt.

You all must feel reeeally cool, making fun of a person because of what they wear or do, right? That's real mature.

First, Im pretty sure most of you know NOTHING about people cutting themselves. Not only 'emos' do it. You people dont even know why they do it, you just come up with "they think theyre depressed". So what? Is it really hurting you that some people think theyre depressed, or even are? You may call me an "emo", but Im not depressed. There goes your stereotype.

By the way, tight jeans are comfortable.

Tight Jeans are comfortable? Do you have balls? Unless your a girl.

--Quit--(As of December 22th, 2007)

Im a guy.

You do realize they make the jeans so that theres more room in that area, and the legs are tight, hmm?

Do stereotypes really matter. Seriously.

By writing about "emo-hate" you're only encouraging hate to a stereotype.

If your a man and you like tight pants, your pretty cool then.

You should also wear like those girl tight jean jackets, or maybe just a tight shirt with tight shoes, tight boxers, and a tight mask or hat?

--Quit--(As of December 22th, 2007)

I wear black band t shirts and skateboarding shoes.

I dont really know what youre trying to point out, but yeeahh, not working.

you said " do you realiaze they make jeans so that theirs room for comfort in the " area " ? "

Are those jeans for men.

--Quit--(As of December 22th, 2007)

Ohh, Im not sure if they are or not. But does it make a big difference? Its still tight jeans that everyone seems to love to complain and bandwagon about.

I hate emo's because they're try hards. All you did was listen to one of your crappy bands, heard them talking about how [cabbage] their life is, and you thought it was cool. So you started to act like that, and dress like them. Now let me tell you, it is not cool. You have no real problems, other then the fact you haven't got any personality.

so you know that every emo in the world fits that description? no you dont so shut the hell up moron

aww look at the little emo, did i hurt your feelings? Well, here's something that will cheer you up. See, there we go. All better now.

But seriously, you can't have it both ways. Either dress like a normal person and fit in, or don't and be an outcast.

You keep telling me to shut up and that I'm a moron yet you don't address my arguments at all. I can't help but think you have no argument at all.

But since you called me a chav, I must be. So i'll leave you with this.

Sycosis, you need to grow up. You don't state what problems are in your life. And if you do, it's probably because

- You lost your job at McDonalds

- Your 2 week relationship with your girlfriend is over

- You're in puberty

- You want attention

mhm.

i do have to ask,why,though?

and the answer?

the human psych is a strange thing-it almost demands an "us and "them" situation.

you put 6 kids in a room, they will almost certainly either split into two separate groups,or one kid will be separated out as an outcast and underling.

it could be anything-in teen society,i have heard it referred to as the "great music divide",as,as a general rule, those who like Rap/hip-hip/pop etc etc will be separate and distinct from those who like indie/rock/metal.

but the divide could be caused by anything-hair color, height, accent, the shoes you are wearing, the way you walk, the vocabulary you use-anything

i myself wear black.band tees,blank tees,baggy trousers,tight trousers,ankle boots,calf boots...

fingerless gloves, long black hair, glasses(i am blind without 'em <.< )

i get harassed for it,aye, but i don't classify myself as a Grunger,an Emo,or a Goth.if pushed,i say "metal head".i most assuredly do not look emo(i dont even own a pair of converses :XD: ) but i get called it...(yeah,cause [bleep]es,chains and exposed toecaps are *so* emo <.<) but,as i say, thats just human territorial instinct at play

anyway, you think emos have it hard? -.-

try aspergers for a week in the average school.... <.<

edit: grammar corrections,elaborations,speelings.(<- twas deliberate)

Because emo's are whiny little [bleep] who like gay music, and always like to be different but then have another whinge when people treat them different when their trying to be different.

Seriously the guys (males) who wear tight black jeans, wear black mascara and nail polish, some gay black emo band t-shirt and have some horrible haircut, should be treated as an abnormal human being. IT IS NOT NORMAL, neither socially accepted as the norm, so don't cry about being treated differently. <.<

Dude... Why so harsh? :?

Well at first they just annoyed me, now I seriously can't stand them, ever since I watched on 60 minutes those 2 poor girls who got wrapped into the emo trend and decided that they'd create a suicide pact together and kill themselves. There is nothing normal about being emo and it annoys me greatly when they whinge about people thinking differently of them when they listen to that style music and dressing strangely.

A tad harsh, but I can confidently say I'm more accepting in real life of them believe it or not, its just when I get my true feelings of them across when I write things down it comes out more harsh then normal.

That is an incredible extreme example. That's like saying (so-called) CHAVs go about shooting guns at each other, getting little girls pregnant, which of course is only true in a very few cases and has nothing to do with the fact they're CHAVs, but just that they're immoral people.

I'm friends with a few emos, and I can safely tell you hardly any of them are as you describe. Most of them are just content listening to the music they love and having a laugh with each other. This doesn't make them abnormal, no more than it's abnormal talking with people you'll never see on an internet forums such as Tip.It.

Even though I do laugh at them, I do not hate them. "Emo" is this decades new word for "[bleep]" IMO. :-k But, being singled out and actually discriminated about clothes and music you listen to? Everyone conforms to some type of clique' if you will, no one can be 'neutral' so what if they picked a homo one?

I usually hurl abuse out the window of my car at them, and laugh hystyrically. I remember at the Big Day Out (music festival), My Chemical Romance were there, so the emos came out in droves, oh what a field day. Emo guys, around the age of 16, with the body frame of 11 year old girls. Haha, dropped the shoulder on quite a few of them.... Ok, I DO hate them!

 Okay, just keep thinking that if it makes you feel better.

It's a style that people like. Why's that such a big problem?
