Every heard of charity, volunteers? They help people who complain by doing things free. People who are volunteers are usually always cheerful, or they wouldn't be volunteering.

I dont hate emos, (to be honest i dont understand the concept that well), but i hate people who label themselves 'emo' in a shot to be unique.

 

Nothing wrong with being depressed, happens to all kinds of "non-emo" people. But i hate it when so called emos take it as a trademark characteristic, and actually encourage doing all kinds of harmful actions, one of which is cutting. And as much as it is stereotyping, it happens and u cant deny it.

 

And the look, i dont mind it. I wear black often, matches with other colors easy...The tight pants? Not so much.

 

But the hairstyle? I hate it. Despise, loathe, detest, and every other word in the thesaurus. Even now, im trying to understand the appeal in covering the eyes with long hair.

 

And the suicidal part too. My God, cant these people understand that there are people in the world with much worse problems than them? And people with real problems dont resort to suicide, do they?

Ever heard of exercise? It produces Endorphins just like cutting yourself does. But the fact is you wont get anyones attention if you go for a jog.

 

 

 

What pisses me off even more is the try hard emos cut themselves, but only shallow cuts on the upper forearm, on the opposite sides of the veins. What the hell? There is only one reason for this. Attention.

Emos would be the last group of people in this world I'd be giving respect to. Real emos who do all the emo stuff are screwed in the head. Their depressed, crying [bleep]es who's parents have lost all control over. And no I'm not talking about the wannabe emo who walks down the street with their black tight Jeans and flattened over black hair.

Real Emos, before it was cool, did actually cut because they were dpressed, and they felt it was the only way out of the emotions they were feeling. Poser Emos, the ones that saw thier favourite band on MTV dress in all black with a fringe and skinny jeans, cut because they think its cool. Which is why they are pathetic.

I remember one day in my math class, there was an "emo" kid, and she was depressed. My math teacher asked, "Wow, so many children are depressed, it must be emo day"

 

 

 

She then proceeded to slam the table, cry and said she was gonna kill everyone at the school. All for being the mere mentioning of what at school is now referred to as the "e" word.

 

 

 

Emos are typically (NOT always) suburban children with wonderful lives. I'm not insulting them for having great lives, it merely means there parents were sucessful and wanted their kids to have enjoyable lives. But they still find a reason to complain and get depressed over what mostly are very good lives. They then wear dark and tight clothes to stick out (which isn't very effective, considering how many people have taken up the clothing style nowadays...).

I, personally hate no man, and you can not judge all people of a group by a stereotype, thats like saying for instance(I'm just making this up) all english people complain if you dance the tango backwards, now every English person, no matter how large the group could not all dislike the tango backwards.

 

 

 

Although, I say it to Emo people to try and smell the roses more because for all we know you only have one life. And if you know someone who is always down (I'm not saying all emo people are down) then they need your help, go cheer them up and if their suicidal then they need you more then ever.

An attention seeking person who thinks they are random and neat and when they where the stupidest things it expresses themselves. People who think doing stupid things like having a key to your pants (WTF I've seen this) is cute.

I'm actually sick of stereotypes. I do not believe in labelling people emo, goth, preppy, nerd, jock, or whatever other nonsense grouping society has come up with. Someone who is depressed, is depressed for many other reasons; not for being apart of an imaginary group. Maybe that person has suffered trauma, lost someone close, has been physically/emotionally abused, etc. I do not label someone emo for being depressed, being dramatic, wearing a certain style of clothing, etc. Really people in this thread need to grow up and quit the stereotypes. All of us are vastly different individuals. Sneering at each other only makes me lose hope in the human race (which we all are part of by the way). Because honestly, we all have those moments of feeling like we do not belong... So we all sadly resort to seperating ourselves farther and farther way from each other. Again let me repeat, we all are part of the human race.

Forgot to space out words there heh...but my point is basically we derive from the same race of beings. Its due to social stupidity that we choose to seperate ourselves from one another.

I just hate how people assume that anyone wearing black clothes is emo. *checks wrists* Nope, not emo. Personally, I say everyone just needs to shut the up and let evolution take it's course.
