Rain stops your 4th celebrations? That's sad. We take what we can get where I live. Last night for the fireworks, it was raining. Nobody cared, as we still had some 5K people show up. Today for the parade, it was sprinkling, didn't stop us...

It's not a party, it's visiting my grandparents and eating dinner... not your crazy teen spin the bottle parties.

Heh raining but that isn't stopping my neighbors from lighting fireworks (lit a few myself). My dog is freaking out though, he's scared of fireworks.

Your name is "bet you fail", and you're starting a business with your mom? I'm not even going to touch that.....

That's why you should be an Australian!

1. You don't have to worry about 4th of July.

2. It pretty much never rains. :)

You have to worry about Australia Day.

What's so bad about rain?

You think you've got troubles 'coz you can't set off a few fireworks? It's so rainy here, Wimbledon's five days behind schedule, and it's only been running for a week and a half...

They really should have played on middle Sunday. Poor Nadal, 4 days to complete one match. And Justine went past Serena. Hurray!!! Even though Serena is of course blaming her loss on injury... when will she have the decency to acknowledge Henin's genius <.<.

Aaaanyway, back on topic. We've had nothing but rain the last few weeks here. I go to work by bike, I've been wet through at least once a day. Bleh. Our national holiday is often rained out too, but that doesn't really stop anybody from celebrating :D.

Out of all the summers I can remember this one has been the coldest and most wet. Bring on Global warming :XD:

A little rain never stopped me running up to my mates house with my Wii, heck there was even some lightning here in Scotland, 40 minutes after I leave my house, IT STOPPED RAINING!

HEck there was even some minor flooding of the pavements and roads.

There was a thunder here (Canada, Qc), I love thunders the air is always heavy and feels electrically charged, aswell as this feeling of being at night during the day.

Too bad for you guys, haha. It's God's Wrath.

Haha, amen to that! :P

isnt global warming what causes the mass rain? ice caps melting slightly, more water in sea, more being evaporated into clouds, more rain?
