Today I felt like doing some autoer luring at world 3 Rimmington.

 

 

 

I set up a trail to the house south of the yews, an autoer went in, I closed the door, but it opened the door up and went back outside to chop! A non autoer who was also auto luring informed me that autoers now open doors and I was dissapointed.

 

 

 

Just now I set up a trail to the hobgoblins and as I make my way back to the yews, a level 63 autoer (I knew it was an autoer) in full rune takes the path! I scramble back and pick up the rest of my yews before it does.

 

 

 

So is autoer luring out of the question now? That would suck because it seemed fun.

Most of them aren't autoers anymore. They are most likely goldfarmers, or goldfarmers with autoer names or autoers WITH goldfarmer names, -.-

Of course they would try to fight back to some extent, its always been a battle between us and them. The more we try to eliminate them through several methods (one of which is luring), they only become more aware of this and try to adapt. I doubt all autoers can open doors and such, but if they haven't now, they will, eventually.

Today I was walking along, and bam, world 91 draynor, I see like twenty autoers! :x 91 I tried teleothering them, all had accept aid off.

 

 

 

they're becoming concious of the fact that not all players endorse rule breaking.

Autoers can more than easily get past luring, from the research I've done into autoing, alot of it is done by "leechers", people who take the code written by others and use it, while contributing no code of their own, these people don't usually have access to the best autos, the one which can defeat luring, however as I saw, when a "script" does get out, everyone has it. The autoing community is so large, (And filled with quite intelligent people) That unfortunately they're easily winning the war.

Hope this doesnt happen much to the green dragon gold farmers. I've already seen super high level obvious gold farmers one/no iteming charge at me when I get near the dragons. And now it seems every time I kill a few of them in one world a squad of pkers using ancients ect comes to try to kill me.

Well said. Also, the level 3 "macroers" in default clothing are sweatshop workers, not macroers. A macro would not fall for that. I have been saying this for a long time, people are starting to agree with it now instead of arguing with me. ^-^

the ppl that make the bots are getting 'smarter', making it so that it can recoginse when its in a house with the door closed :cry: or if they are in danger :twisted: i mean i DONT use bots, i report em all the time, bot hunting and such, so dont get the wrong idea... i can only guess to the capibility of google :P but really, report em. i know aut-luring is fun and all, seeing a bot getting killed is justice one way or another. we must think of another way to amuse our selves with the fact of the down fall of bots!

I move that anyone under level 127 shouldn't be able to open doors\chop wood\fish\or be able to wield anything. Just to make the game fair. :uhh:

 

 

 

But alas... autoers have different programming and will eventually take over runescape, unless jagex has a near perfect bot detection method. As for now, keep pking green dragon autoers and keep trying to find methods to delay them.

Keep trying with the teleother! i've managed to find a few who have aid on and its funny when they accidently accept the teleother and i see them just standing in camelot :lol:

just switch worlds reporting everyone who dosent respond when i talk to them at the yews behind varock castle

auto'ers are managed by real people and real people have come to the conclusion that things evolve. so were just going to have to step up faster then the people that are making the scripts (idk if rs2 auto'ers run on scripts anymore but in rsc that was the case)

I just go to areas that require huge amounts of quest time to unlock. Out of sight, out of mind.

autoers aren't becoming more concious about their surroundings, they are programs. the programers are becoming aware of bot lurers, so now they program them to recognize a closed door and make them open it. all the bots are actually doing is reading the game code, as it changes, they can be programmed to take action accordingly. they can now be programmed to read the code for being hit and closed doors, and they can be programmed to evade the danger or open the door. it's the programmers that are becoming smarter. and the bots are run by a program made by gold farmers, not by actual people. once the account is activated and logged on, the program does the rest.

Such a force would have to be fairly large numbers wise and have jmod powers to insta ban and or attack them outside wildy and irrelevant of lvl. Of course no such thing would ever happen but it would be a funny and BRILLIANT way of solving the autoer problem, also NUKE China so theres no goldfarmers.

rascist comment much? not all goldfarmers/autoers come from china. a good many gold farmers come from the U.S. and the most of the chinese goldfarmers aren't runnning autoers.
