Introduction

 

Well, I'm sure many of us have seen the M&M 'There's a color in everyone' commercial at least once. Well, I wondered, what types of players could there be? Knowing that many types of players have similar characteristics, I decided to do a little research and sort these into different categories. If you'd like to, try to figure out what player you are and post your color.

 

 

 

For those wondering, I'm cyan ;)

 

 

 

The Different Colors

 

 

 

Blue - The (Usually) Relaxed Sandbox Gamer

 

Your color is blue. You often enjoy sandbox games, or otherwise

 

any game that lets you play freely, (Animal Crossing, The Sims,

 

The Sims 2, The Movies, Viva Pỉ̮̱̉ata, Roller Coaster Tycoon [or

 

otherwise any Tycoon game]. While 'scaping, you are often focused

 

on your work/goals, however, when your_best_friend123 logs on, you'll

 

probably get distracted and become deep in conversation with them.

 

You may reach your goal slower than others, but you'll get there.

 

 

 

Red - The Hard-Core Action Gamer

 

Your color is red. While you'll get your work done much, much quicker

 

than others, being red can also be a bad thing, as you may often find

 

yourself playing for excessive hours on end. You enjoy games that are

 

very 'action-y'/fighting based (or otherwise any game that gives

 

you the thrill of blasting the opposing player's head off.) You never (or

 

seldom) become distracted from your goal, and in races to beat a goal,

 

you probably end up being #1.

 

 

 

Orange - The Action-Adventure Gamer

 

The orange player is very similar to the red player, however, they tend

 

to enjoy action-adventure games (The Legend of Zelda, Metroid Prime

 

Hunters, Halo 2/3, Pokemon Games), which are basically action games with

 

the theme of adventure thrown in. These players will typically love to quest

 

in Runescape, and often neglect skills and combat levels, only training them

 

when necessary.

 

 

 

Cyan - The 'Orange/Blue' Gamer

 

A very popular breed of gamer, with many characteristics from both the

 

blue group and orange group. See blue and orange for more info.

 

 

 

Green - The Patient Strategy Gamer

 

Your color is green. There are probably less green players than any other

 

color defined in this topic. You enjoy games that require patience and

 

strategy (Lost In Blue, Chess [both simulated and in-real-life], Monopoly

 

[both simulated and in-real-life], Card Games). You are a little bit of

 

each; a skiller, quester, and combatant. Though this is a group of few

 

players, it is a great color to be.

 

 

 

Purple - The 'Everything' Gamer

 

As you reach this color, you may be having trouble deciding which color

 

is for you. Well, if you haven't found out the color that fits you yet, you're

 

probably an 'everything' gamer. A very rare breed of gamers which don't

 

really specialize in anything, they just prefer a little bit of it all. What type

 

of game they play depends on their mood. They're often laid-back, and

 

don't worry about their goals too much.

Unless you're going to start making yoru own threads that you consider to be 'good', people really need to stop complaining about the content in current threads that are being made. -.- Without them this forum would be completely empty anyway. People enjoy different types of threads, if you don't like one, n one's saying you have to post on it.

I'll play every now and then and most of the time when I'm on I'll almost always be with someone doing something.

 

 

 

Probably why I never get anything done.

 

So far this summer I've grown two total levels lawl.

I'm definitely green. No one in my family will ever play Monopoly with me because it takes too long. :D

I used to be a mix of orange and red. Now I'm kinda in between orange and green...

I'm Purple seeing as all my stats are 70 or higher O:). But occasionally, I will have enough of a drive to reach something to turn me into a temporary Red. Like when Dark Bows were announced in Behind the Scenes June, I spent hours on end doing nothing but leveling my Slayer from 88-90.

Guess which one? :wink:
