vietlapine Posted July 13, 2007 Share Posted July 13, 2007 I wonder if anyone has noticed this before but sometimes in the mining guild...I see gems on the ground...mostly sapphires and emeralds...just lying right there. My question is who would be that careless to throw these away? I'm sure it doesn't just spawn there.. Maybe some miner using bots that auto throw non ore stuff.... :lol: Even other miners dont notice them which makes me think if they are really paying attention. Any ideas. I fill up my inventory with metal ores before heading out and only leave enough space in my inventory for the number of coal required to make the metal bars (e.g. 6 slots for addy ore). P2P offers more and better ways of making money than f2p. That's one of the cons you just have to play with if you don't feel like having 1 bigmac meal less per month. Due to the easy availability of gems generally, I prefer to keep my inv space for ores. Sapphires dont have that much intrinsic worth to me so I dont bother keeping them (dont use for crafting or fletching, rather have the bankspace for something else). When combat training, I often bring a chisel, cut them and then drop them again as I would rather have the space for those valuable herbs (I now drop harralanders and below too).
