harryp0tt3rules
Today, JKR confirmed that she "probably would" begin to continue work on an encyclopedia of sorts for the Harry Potter series. It would consist of plot details that didn't make it in to the book and even what happened to more characters after Deathly Hallows. So to all you Potter fans who have mourned, does this make you happy again? Would you wait in line as we have to get this new book at midnight? Even though it isn't a book in the direct series, I think it will be very successful, and a necessary component to fully understand the books. djo0
I think that would be awsome. The last chapter was pretty good, but it didn't completely cover what happened to every charactor. "Nobody cheers for Goliath" ~Wilt Chamberlain~
ChickyBee32
I'd be in there in a heartbeat. I'd love to know how certain characters dealt with certain events. Although on the upside, in Australia, it's at 9am, so I can still have a decent nights sleep!

Probably would just be like a drawing from a story that the illustrator liked the best.

Adam007
I got the other two books (I think one was on monsters and one just magical history?), and I'll definitely be getting this one. I really want to know what everyone does with their lives. Smart move on JKR's behalf not revealing too much on the epilogue. Potter fans everywhere want to know more. WRONG!. 17 + 19 = 36. Having 3 kids by then is not unusual. Trix.--quit WoW as of 12/07Thank you 4be2jue for the wonderful sig and avatar!

Wow, this book would make me extremely happy, clearing up all the questions would pretty much be the best finish, I hated not knowing what happened to many of the other characters, and especially not knowing if Harry became an Auror or not...also, Harry, Ron and Hermione kinda skipped their last year at Hogwarts...wouldn't that have any impact on their later life? speedofsound
I think life experience, all that they've been through makes up for 1 year of missed school. You can't ever find a place that's nice and peaceful, because there isn't any. You may think there is, but once you get there, when you're not looking, somebody'll sneak up and write "(bleep) you" right under your nose. Try it sometime. I think, even, if I ever die, and they stick me in a cemetery, and I have a tombstone and all, it'll say "Holden Caulfield" on it, and then what year I was born and what year I died, and then right under that it'll say "(bleep) you." llamster
I haven't read the new one yet but, Harry having babies with Ginny?....i thought children read this book...or is there a spell for that kind of thing? It's not a little kid's book, there's a lot of strong language in the 7th one. Ah, this reminds me about the noob on the Runescape forums who was upset with the quest "Cold War" because apparently his grandparents died in the war. :wall:
dwarfdude3
I haven't read the new one yet but, Harry having babies with Ginny?....i thought children read this book...or is there a spell for that kind of thing? well the first 2 or 3 were kids books because Harry is like 11 and 12. But in book seven Harry is 17. Hardly a kid anymore, so its hardly a kids book anymore.
No_OnE
I haven't read the new one yet but, Harry having babies with Ginny?....i thought children read this book...or is there a spell for that kind of thing? It doesn't go into any detail or anything. They just had children. If that's too bad to be published in a book like Harry Potter, then there's something wrong with society. Besides, book 7 is a lot darker, more violent, and it contains a bit of strong language. It's not much of a children's book anymore. To be more on topic, I'm looking forward to the encyclopedia. I'll mainly be looking forward to it so I can find out what happened to other characters later on in life. The epilogue to book 7 failed miserably at that. Demeige
I'd buy it simply for nostalgic purposes. When I grow old and senile I would like to relive my childhood somewhat. If I reread one book instead of 7 it would make life easier for me. How does a profession differ from an occupation?
dsavi
Looks interesting. But it isn't like a chapter book, so I dunno how I'm gonna get my hands on it.
