Personally i give any type of music a chance whether it is Metal,dance,hip-hop,classical,indie..anything. Okay, what about polka? Siberian Throat Singing? Darkstep, Techstep, DarkWAVE? There's more to it than just "I get money from the [bleep] who be sellin' my bud", there's song that are deep enough to leave you there for hours thinking. Rap is really a strong, creative genre, and if you wanna generalize it to mindless club songs, fine. Your loss. :|Are you my twin? There's a lot of songs in rock that aren't any better, ya know. Example: Fat Bottomed Girls by Queen That's a great song, but it's about girls. Giving The Dog A Bone - AC/DC Good band/song, but the lyrics? Hmm.... Many more songs if you want me to name them... EDIT- Of course most mainstream rap sucks. 99% of the mainstream music out there is garbage, no matter the genre. I love you. I do English to Japanese and Japanese to English translation for free! Ps I really hope you don't think you are funny -.- as I tried to say several times, not all rap is bad. as some have pointed out, there are better rappers out there than those clubbin' guys with girls and money and beer on their minds. I've heard some better rap and I'm not trying to stereotype against all rappers. MOST rappers in the mainstream are these kind of club banging [cabbage], but some other people of that kind, as I am fully aware, are a lot better and shouldn't be classified with the morons. And about my humor, if you don't think i'm funny then its not funny. I didn't try to be some kind of comedian, just tossed in a few humorous sayings in the thread.
