ah mining sweet mining. a lvl 3 with 50 mine and 40 smith withought knowing wtf a skiller is, but that my friends was a long time ago, 2 years ago. lol :

I used to cut willow trees near the lumbridge general store. I was using a steel axe with and selling all those lovely logs to the store. Raked in a smooth 3k a day doing that. Oh, the good ol' days!

I ran nature runes, good cash too! Got my first blue mask and santa after a few weeks of playing..and full guthix. :P

cowhides 100 each then later before the pure ess update I mined rune ess by the bucket loads :lol:

This was way back in RSC times. I used to kill men for money. I know, they dropped like 5-10 gp, but it added up. Then I bought full bronze for 3k. I know I was ripped, but I was so happy!!!!!

 

The first time I actually made lots of money was mining 5k pure ess (bored me to death) and selling it for 500k!

I made money by nature running for some of the top runecrafters. 11k per trade isn't bad money. This was before the Abyss of course.

I started playing before rune essence so i had no 'easy' money. I did it the good old fashion way, mined tin and copper(slowly moved up to iron then iron/coal) at dwarven mines, then smelted in fally, smithed into sheilds at dorics(shorter walk back then) then sold to the shield shop in fally.

 

 

 

My first real money maker was essence when RC came. I also vaguely remember mining silver at varrok west and selling every inventory to a merchant in the bank, making what i thought was alot of money.

i raided the lava maze for steel pl8s/earth staves

yelling '"phr33 st0ff pl0xxxxx!!!"...no. I mined copper and tin and smelted bronze stuff, until iron....and repeated for a while til i started fishing and combat and other things

I remember that I used to gather feathers and sell them. I sold 200 of them for 7K gold pieces and thought I was rich :P . Eventually when I'd become a member I discovered Pure Essence, and so I began to sell those in thousands, at around 70-80 gold pieces per.

 

 

 

I still mine Essence whenever I need some experience in mining, though.

I never really had that much cash. I remember first starting out, i had 800 gp or something. The cash pile looked so awesome.

I merchanted feathers and cow hides :D. How I got enough money to merchant feathers and cow hides? By killing goblins :twisted:

I mined at varrock, smelted in lumbridge, then smithed in varrock and sold everything to the gen store. Then I figured out that I could just make swords for less bars and sell them to the sword store for more money per bar. I miss my nooby rsc days.

Fishing. My 93 fishing came from somewhere didn't it :P

 

Until I realised fishing was soo little money and I went to do other things instead.

 

 

 

I started fishing in karamja, that was back in Rsc, and I fished raw, cooked it, and traded for raw, and continued cooking so that I wouldn't need to bank my fish and cert them :ohnoes:
