I was mining silver in al kharid and picking up the water/fire runes at the same time.. sold that silver 100 each........ :-k

The very first way I made money was in classic, by training in the goblin house, and picking up the iron daggers that used to respawn and selling them at the sword shop in Varrok. Also by selling the goblin armor to higher level players doing that quest.

I always WCed my way to a set of rune, then lost it pking, WCed again...

When I was a noob, I was often out of money. In fact until I became a member at lvl 56 I just barely had enough money to buy my essentials. I never owned more than 80k cash at any given point. I just scavenged runescape, doing nonmember quests for exp, earned the little amounts of money here and there. but really i was always broke.

Back in RSC, when I was a super noob and young, I collected steel plates in the Lava Maze.

 

 

 

I was, however, smart enough to switch worlds to do this. There were only about four, but each plate was worth an amazing 1.2k when sold to the plate store. =O

I thought it was big money.

Hmm... I got my first full rune by mining 3k rune ess, cutting some yews and willows. When I got the set I felt so rich!

 

 

 

After that I started cutting yews and sold them for 300gp ea, which got me my 1,6m that really helped me when I got my membership. I can't really remember how I made my first k's... Propably doing random stuff.

i smithed stuff and sold to the general store. that first full rune set was a hard one

 

 

 

i merch now. its the only good way to make money in f2p

I mined and smithed a lot, i mean A LOT i could get into the mining guild at lvl 9. I could make full mith at lvl 10 so i lvled up attack and defense til i could wear it and then leveled up str as i did every f2p quest in full mith. (yes even dragon slayer). Then i got members and got my wcing and fletching up to 70. then I got wcing to 76 and left it there. Thats when I realized that I need more combat and did that. RS lifestory ftw!

I mined iron and coal, 27 of each per trip (cudnt hold a rune pic). I never thought of stocking up, and always sold to those merchants that hang out and buy small amounts for cheap. Iron went for 1k-1.3k per trip, and coal for 2.5k+ per trip (never realized i was selling so cheap).

 

 

 

Then one day i stocked up 2k iron to sell for 100k to a rich dude who gave me the job. I was thrilled; 100k was SO MUCH (back then)! Turned out the guy wouldnt pay, so i went to world 1. It was the best day of my life, i sold the iron for an amazing 200k (never knew it went for 100ea)! Man, i felt elated. I proceeded to buy full black (t).

 

 

 

But now the blk (t) is sara, and the 100k is only 1/50 my savings. But honestly, I may be richer now, but it was back then when runescape was at its funnest.

I started by selling feathers from my first kills, then selling trout, salmon and -finally- lobbies...

 

 

 

Right after I became a member I started a rather successful herblore shop which got me to one million geepees from gathering vials and seconds only (no high skill levels involved in that business). Soon after (before to hit lvl 60 combat) I've made it to buy me a fury and my first santa. 8-)

 

 

 

Nowadays I make most of my cash from selling potions (70 herblore together with 83 farming rocks!) and crafting laws and nats. My lowest skill being slayer I did not start Barrows yet, but I just hit lvl 55 so I guess I'm going to start pretty soon. ;)

 

 

 

Honestly, at level 101 combat I still think I'm a newbie! :mrgreen:

i once mined 700 iron ores in rimmington mine,walked alllll the way back to fally, and repeated :wall: i didnt know about dwarven mine shortcut :XD: but i got my first rune plate with it....

I went around killing goblins...

i used to spend hours in Taverly dungeon killing Chaos Druids for herb drops. I could ID beyond ranarr, so I made a lot of money selling these off :)

My way of making money as a noob was rune ess mining. Even then, I never went past mith armor. I wast still using mith armor when i did lost city, and later still, did d slayer with a dds :lol: .

Smithing Bronze helms, my smithing was 16, I thought I was the richest person in Runescape.I was so happy I thought I buy someones account when I was lvl 4.

My first ever money making lpan used to be mining coal and iron, smelting it into steel ,smithing into the best item I could make and sell to the general store XD Boy I was rich back then XDXD

long story short, i mined ess and rced it

I picked up random things from the ground and sold them to a speciallity store on the other side of glienor for a few gp. Made about 100k in ...6 months. Now, I can make 650k in a 3 days.

I fished lobster and sold them to the fishing shop in port sarim :oops: :wall:
