Not sure if this is any use to any of you Runescape History fans, but I found this book on the ground while wcing. Someone must of killed a goblin and it dropped it.

anyway, this must be foreshadowing a war between the goblins and everyone else, but it probably won't happen for a few months...

 

 

 

Nice find, though, it 's cool to learn the histories of different races.

Yea I found it on the ground and thought it might be interesting. Considering many of us don't kill goblins anymore I didn't think many people would have read it yet so I posted it here :D

Basically it talks about the goblins being 'forced' by their god to fight in war, they got kind of addicted to war from the no mercy/cowards must die/etc aspect they were pushed to believe and wanted to keep fighting but as the humans stopped warring the 12 tribes the god split the goblins into fought eachother. Until this god told them to stop and to wait until a Commander was sent to tell them what to do and then supposedly conquer RuneScape.

 

 

 

Nice find, at first I thought it was from a quest but after reading it realised it wasn't (I'm pretty sure it's not anyway).

 

Also, if you know your RuneScape books well it ties in with Goblin Symbols book from The Lost Tribe quest talking about the different tribes and their war-like nature.

Good connection though :) I usually don't read the Runescape books, but this one, I did

It seems it took place during the god wars...because on page 2 of the book the "tall people with keen blades" can be translated into humans because they worship both gods...still thats odd how the goblins found a good

Quite interesting. I like the last pages the most because they are in mystery to me.

"Thinkers must die", explains how they got thus far. Personally, I think the Big High War God is one of the lesser gods, not Saradomin or Zamorak. Possibly Bandos, like one of the other posters said.

 

What I found most interesting is how the BHWG "sold" the tribes to the other gods (thats nice...) to both, Zamorak and Saradomin. I never expected some goblins to be Saradominist.

 

Anyway, if Zaros ever starts another God War, how bad can it go? We got goblins on our side! :thumbsup:

They won't make it past Draynor, no matter how many there are.

 

But that would be cool, aggressive level 2's and 5's goblins taking over, and the song "Imagine" by John Lennon would come true, every player leaves the wilderness and whatever they're doing and heads to fally to organize a battalion that will attack goblin village. That'd be awesome, every player on one team. Millions verses...verses...whatever the number of goblins is. The biggest war in MMORPG history.

Well isn't that from a quest, I honestly remember reading the exact same thing during it.

I picked up acouple of them but nvr read too much of it.

but really, thats history... history usually doesnt repeat itself, but it could be that jagex makes a new quest or something in inspiration of this booklet, they normally always do lol even if this book is already for a longtime in the game

 

It sounds more like a set up for a goblin civil war with the Dorgeshuun coming out of hiding.
