mrrogers
With the new themed worlds, many minigames have become more crowded than normal, but 1 in particular. An overlooked minigame at best, Shades Of Morton. Since the update, i have not seen the temple at less than 90% repair. This used to be a pointless, difficult, and unrewarding minigame. But with all the sudden intrest, I have made over 80k and splitbark boots from it. If you have always wanted to try Shades of Morton, I recomend now, before all the hype goes down. spooferfish
I've been wondering how this would affect the mini games. Its good to hear that people are actually using the themed worlds. I might have to go check out some of the mini games :o
mrrogers
i understand, and have seen, that other minigames are like this now. the only difference is, Shades of Morton has never been popular to any one except a select few. now it's insane
malo2
what's more impressive is the games room, it actually got crowded for once. Last time I've seen that was at it's release. Lastfm

InkofDeath
Jagex did a good job. Without an official world from jagex everyone was spread out. Now everyone is on one world, playing happily. Your getting 200% more of the Mini-Games now then ever. \ Castle wars has never been so much fun, and fight caves, is just wow.
mrrogers
i think this has to be the most valuable small update since the world switcher so insignificant at first, but makes such a difference
meb
Great update, even the rat pits have people in them :P . Retired 2146 overall - 136 combat - 6 skillcapes Plus I think the whole teenage girl thing will end soon (hopefully), because my girlfriend is absolutely in love with him(she is 18), and im beginning to feel threatened by his [Justin Bieber] dashing looks. nyyankees588
Its pretty amazing what the themed servers have done. Castle wars is very fun in the official worlds although it is pretty much impossible to tell who will win. Its kinda the thing where if you want to have fun they are good but if your only looking for the rewards they are not so good. I was like 'whatever' so I withdrew my wiley hellcat and I saw at least 10 people there :o ! I won 1k too 8-) . Oh and the Shade minigame always was underrated, it's decent cash and fun. kemikalkadet
i went to pits on the first day and that was insane, came 15th in a 450+ person game \ i tried castle wars and games room today. Castle wars was pretty epic, not much room for strategy though, more of a big kill-fest but fun all the same. Games room was the first time i've been there since the first few weeks it was in the game. slightly embarrased by my -1000 rank but i see there's 2 new games there, fresh start with a 1k rank lol. Soulthresher
Yea, I visited some of these new themed worlds for minigame but I am dissapointed for two reasons: Lack of ability to play them and lack of commitment to play them. I went over to Barbarian assault hopping to get a good team and rush through the waves scoring major points. But all this hype attracted alot of newbs who don't call or have no idea what to do. The fishing trawler is awesome with the amount of fish, 20 mantas, 4 turtles per trip, but you have over 200 people playing while around 10 are bailing, 10 are plugging holes and around 5 are repairing nets. You have alot of freeloaders who are just there for the fish. Its a huge success in the eyes of Jagex but there are still some minor failures with it.
