Mollerz
Se7en was pretty scary IMO. But I was with a bunch of friends in a small hut in the middle of no-where at 2am and I was 12 when I first saw it. We then had a challenge to see who could get to sleep first with the volume up quite loud. I was 2nd but the guy who fell asleep first woke up at like 3am. We all ended waking up at the end of the movie with the last two screaming their heads off. Not asleep lmfao. Still pretty creepy if you ask me  Click my signature for my blog! cyco
I think the only way to make a movie truly scary is for it to be real or at least based on a true story. The Blair Witch scared me untill I heard they were making a new one.
jjrox32
Night of the Living Dead or Land of the Dead. The former was genuinely scary instead of just gory. It really creeped me out...just the atmosphere. The latter was scary because of the gore effects, the creepiness of the zombies, and the fact that the zombies are getting smarter :ohnoes: Day of the Dead was freaky. Dawn wasn't so scary, it made me laugh more than anything. As you can see, I'm a Romero fan :P

However, there has not been a movie I've watched that I would consider to be really scary. Someone out there needs to make a movie that will make me [cabbage] myself while I'm watching it. Then we'll have a scary movie on our hands ;) Internet Marketing For Newbies
runescapeloser22
Saw movies aren't scary, I'm only 13 and wasn't scared by them at all, but I would definitely recommend seeing them. They're really good movies, can't wait for Saw IV!

Anymore would be taking it too far. The plot was already getting a little thin on the third one, I think another would just ruin it.
blushenka
The Others comes to mind. Of course, that's more psychologically scary than blood and gore kind of scary. Also the series Millennium, great show, some episodes scared the living daylights out of me. "Metal isn't about violence or faggy whiny lyrics. It isn't even about who plays the heaviest and fastest. blakdragon39
Saw 3 is the only movie thats ACTUALLY robbed me of sleep :P. However the other affected me for a very long time also. Most other movies will affect me for a couple nights :P, I'll imagine those crazy things happening right there and my imagination gets carried away way to easily xD. tryto
All "horror" movies now are not scary. They are either gruesome, surpising(as in sudden monster jumping oput of closet), or both. The Shining is scary, Pycho was scary a while ago, the exorcist is mildy scary if you watch it in the right mood.(chilling at least). The shining is definatley the best horror moivie ever, and one of the few that can scare people today. I agree that they will ruin it if they take it much further, but who knows? They may be that stupid.
