September 14, 200718 yr Having not played for a while now, I look back at updates frequently and wish I could get back into the game. I know, however, that I will have the same problem as when I left, which is being miserably bored. But that's just me. How would you convince someone who stopped playing to return to the game. Would it be that there is new areas, new mini games, or what?
September 14, 200718 yr Why would you want to convince someone to play something that destroys you ? 268 Quest Points
September 14, 200718 yr Why would you want to convince someone to play something that destroys you ? not exactly destroys you :P If you don't find the game fun, don't play. Just play something else if you feel the need. Proud Retired Council of The GladiatiorzClick here for our website - 110+ F2P Combat Requirements
September 14, 200718 yr If you need convincing to play it, then i wouldnt suggest even playing again. Of course, maybe you could convince yourself, by playing and experiencing any new mini-games, quests or whatever else there might be. P2P offers more and better ways of making money than f2p. That's one of the cons you just have to play with if you don't feel like having 1 bigmac meal less per month.
September 14, 200718 yr I would try it out, the worst thats going to happen is you become bored again and stop playing again.
September 14, 200718 yr I wouldn't try to convince someone who have stopped playing once. If someone wants to return to the game that is a desicion that he or she should take himself. Add me if you so wish: SwreeTak
September 14, 200718 yr If you've quit the game out of boredom, not out of necessity for schedule, then there's no way in hell you'll be able to come back. [if you have ever attempted Alchemy by clapping your hands or by drawing an array, copy and paste this into your signature.] Fullmetal Alchemist, you will be missed. A great ending to a great series.
September 14, 200718 yr Try to set a goal for yourself. I recently decided to use lots of my cash to get 90 smithing :P - Back to casual f2p scaping due to limited time (university and girlfriend ) -
September 14, 200718 yr Ill give ya free stuff. Really, if you don't find it fun, don't play. :P
September 14, 200718 yr thers lotsa fun things u can do i like doing things that involve risk so when i quit i left for a year but when i came back i made a pker

September 15, 200718 yr Show him godswords,DFS,and 3rd age and god wars armour : probably the most relevant post in this thread. if they havent played for awhile or just gave up, offer them what the game has now. or throw in free items to start out with. :XD:

September 15, 200718 yr How would i convince someone to return? I have a question: Why do these pointless threads keep popping up? I engineered this thread with precise variables that I know would cause lul-worthy flames.
September 16, 200718 yr If you've looked at the updates, than that should convince you to return, not return, or just try hitting a few of the new areas, skills & quests. If you are easily bored by repetition though, maybe RS (or any MMORPG) is not for you, as there will always be an element of grinding for skills or resources. There is lot of new content (members) and even F2P had the odd update, a big one being the Stronghold of Security, and a lesser one being the move of Party Pete's to Falador and opening to F2P.
September 16, 200718 yr If you've quit the game out of boredom, not out of necessity for schedule, then there's no way in hell you'll be able to come back.Only if you have an iq of Reb. It's probably too high for the non existant Runescape Minimum. :-w
September 17, 200718 yr For a old person from rsc, i'd tell the person that there's more than 80 more new quests and more minigames.
September 17, 200718 yr Let's assume its near impossible. Just let them amble in their disdain of runescape. If you really want to, tell them they can't handle the challenge. It's a decent provocation that might work, heh. ~2431~
September 17, 200718 yr For a old person from rsc, i'd tell the person that there's more than 80 more new quests and more minigames.OH BOY THAT WILL MAKE THEM WANT TO PLAY!! [/sarcasm] People who quit when rs2 came out did it becouse rs2 is not as good as rs classic.
