tryto
You save $5 a month? You can buy a Bigmac or something. Also, if you're a low level, mean members will make fun of you.lol When a true genius appears in the world, you may know him by this sign, that the dunces are all in confederacy against him. ~Jonathan SwiftWebsite Updates/Corrections here. Shahrazad
Umm... The only reason that you should stay a non member player is that one day you will be forced to stay a non member player for along time and in that case you will go back and think with yourself why did I become a member before? So that simply means you should have stayed a non member player and it was no point from becoming a member and wasting your money. *Started Runescape in 1st of August 2005*. In that case there was no point from replying if you couldn't give a good answer/advice to "pureskull29". In that case this should go in help and advice; since as you say, it's not an open discussion. Anyway, here's how I see it: Pros: More challenge. I suppose you would save $5 a month. Not as many stuck-up high levels, mostly annoying low levels, which at times are more bearable. Cons: Not nearly as many features. No access to minigames of any sort. Virtually nothing new for months at a time. LOTS of autoers at yew trees.
Shahrazad
do i need a point to reply? What then? what is the point from replying without even clarifying your view about this thread? Just waste of time and effort . Don't you think :?:. *Started Runescape in 1st of August 2005*.

Yes otherwise it's just plain spam give F2P a penny and they want a dime; give P2P a quarter, they want 100,000 dollars, your car, house, boat, social security number, credit card numbers, drivers license, clothes on your back and everything you ever owned or interacted with ever

Tim_Finch
The main reason I've always thought about was the fact that since your f2p, you can spend all your money on cool armor that would be sort of a waste of money in members, such as god armor, or trimmed wizard armor. In members, you feel that you should use your money on useful stuff, in f2p, there really isn't. :P
The Observer
There are many incentives to stay F2P. It is harder to train up, so you will get more respect for your levels. If you are a level 100+ member, it isn't a big deal as there are alot of them. 100+ F2P players are to be admired upon! You can also buy armour that you wouldn't DARE buy if you were a member. Such as trimmed armour.

underu2000
There's no reason why you should stay f2p. Become a member. Exactly Just because some folks decided to throw around cash as soon as they hit level 20 doesn't mean there aren't reasons. And besides, can you read? There are plenty of reasons already listed. Look up^. I'm f2p myself, just because I decided I don't want to bind myself to runescape. Since I don't pay, there is no reason to 'make the most of my money'. Granted, it's only 5 bucks, but that's 5 bucks that I'm wasting if I don't play enough. Then there's all that about more challenge, more respectable high levels, etc etc. But if you plan on playing rs seriously, you might want to make an alternate account and pay for that one. That is, if this account is too high level. If this account is fairly low level, you might as well go p2p now. Life is a joke. Yeah, I don't get it either. 25leaf
You save at least 60 dollars a year, it is more of a challange, you are an awsome f2p at one point rather then and average or slightly below average member. three main points to me right there. Don't pay 5 dollars a month so you can play a harder game with less skills no minigames and the worst community on the net! And really a high level on members is as respectable as someone with high f2p skills, noone says "omg your only level 70 noob" and follows up with "oh your f2p? you rock". also I dont try making the most of my money, its only 5 bucks! i dont try to make the most out of a bag of candy because it cost 5 dollars. There is no reason for anyone to stay f2p even if you say its more of a challenge I say its more challenging raising 8 more skills than raising f2p skills.
