I think everyone looks into these things too much. Just because an NPC is wearing something, it doesn't mean that it will be released soon.

As mentioned:

 

1. Probably going to be last dragon item released

 

2. Going to look a LOT like something other than a white knight plate died red (other plates would probably cause it to be anything other than red).

 

3. Dragon pickaxe is much more wanted than plate. Why? Because it would actually be the best of it's type unless they made some kind of barrows or 3rd age pickaxe. :lol:

It looks more like splitbark body and legs dyed red.

I can see it coming out late next year no sooner. But the plate those warriors have is a red splitbark plate and the kite is a zammy heraldic kite.

We can't really speculate because on this basis, but I'm anticipating a release in the long run. Right now, with God Wars Dungeon being released, Dragonfire Shields, Dragon Full Helms, and new armour sets, I'm pretty sure Jagex is timing the release of the Dragon Platebody in the distant future.

I once spent a full calander month killing Dust Devils. I killed 12k + and didn't get a dragon chain.

 

 

 

I shudder to think how difficult a dragon full plate would be to obtain, if it's ever released.

Why can't we wield 2 handers with shields like Vannaka then? :wink:

Itm ight be close to us the dragon plate, look, this year they made dragon boots, dragon full helm and dragon plate for an NPC, ours is not that far :).

Well I'd think when addy drags ever come out they'll drop drag pl8s or something- maybe whenn rune drags come out (if either of these dragons ever do)- I doubt a lvl 84 zammy mage would drop though...

Dragon Claws?

Well, if you have gone to the ZMI Altar and taken the short route, you will notice the Zararak Warriors, level 84. They seem to be wearing a helmet, that looks like Guthans helm dyed red. The plate however, looks like a regular platebody....but dyed red. In my opinion, soon, the Dragon Plate will be released. Thoughts?

Your "dragon plate" is simply Splitbark armor, colored brown.

On RSC Fire giants had a staff (if i remember correctly)

Fire giants used to wield swords that looked like dragon 2h's as well. Years later the real sword was released.

 

 

 

Don't hold your breath.

It's obvious to anyone that Jagex has chosen to continue the dragon armour line - despite what they said in the past.

 

There is a clear pattern in the range of armour made from bronze to rune, and this pattern is applied to dragon as well.

 

Therefore we will see dragon plate body and dragon kite shield. There is no doubt! Why would Jagex even consider not following their own system and benefit from the anticipation in the community.

 

I think that the fairly many high level items released recently is a very consious decision from Jagex giving the top players something to do (and to spend money on).

 

The many items released in a bulk also draws attention from each other.

 

Which could be an argument for a future release of dragon plate - the plate would not be THE plate, but one out a range of top armour pieces.

The Dragon 2H was on some npcs before it was originally released.

*prays that kite comes first :pray: * The plate I could care less about... but the kite I would love.

We already have a dfs why get a dragon kite? It'll be like the dragon dart. Costs so much, but something so much cheaper is better.

Dyed Guthan's helm and red plate dyed red...seem to me Jagex isn't that too creative...
