Just a quick question, is it still worth it to buy reach next month? I mean are there a lot of people playing it on Live? Will it die out when the new CoD comes out?

I would buy Reach (but personally I'd get BF3 instead...), seeing as how CoD and Halo have a different fan-base (HALO IS BETTER!! NO COD IS BETTER!!), so it probably won't take a huge hit when MW3 comes out.

Reach is the #3 most played game on XBL at the moment. I don't think you have to worry.

 

In other news: Team Snipers on Hemorrhage is awful. I quit out right at the start every single time it gets voted for.

I remember playing a game like that. Everyone was just hiding way up in the rocks on the map or near the water behind those rocks. I was the only one actually moving around, and it was damn near impossible to stay positive when you have peoples just popping out once in a while to take a shot at you.

It's virtual hide and seek and I don't think it ever reaches the score limit.

My most feared match type is SWAT on Pinnacle. Too many [bleep]ing spawn kills.

 

I also detest anything Elite.

Going into Active Camo and watching people walk past you and then you assassinate them is so hilarious. :D

Dislike power weapon camping with all armor lock in that one room on Sword Base? Well now everyone is voting Elite Slayer so that we have all of that with sticky grenades. We should have seen this coming whenever Isolation was used in Halo 3.

The zombies Isolation map was the worst thing ever created in Halo. Ever.

 

Power weapon camping in that room on sword base isn't a problem if you can organise your team. Get some of them to throw frag grenades up the lift into the room and the rest of them to throw them through the doorway, the room will clear out in no time. Even better if you can grab the grenade launcher.

Or, you can create a map where you can't camp as easily.

I usually hate watching to old games I've played. I see so many things I could've done better.

 

And the jetpack has officially ruined Squad Slayer for me. That thing is so infuriating.

Especially when you seem to have no fuel at all, but see people gliding for about 30 seconds non-stop. >_<

I never use the jetpack. It's the entire opposing team using it that annoys me to no end. God, I wish the AAs were placed on the maps instead of being able to choose them at spawn.

I honestly only use it when I'm in the falcon in case I need to bail out. :)

Am I the only person that wishes there was a way to reset your K/D? Because to be honest, it's kind of annoying when most games you get at least a 2.00+, but your ratio itself doesn't budge because you've got so many kills. <_<

Get more kills. At nearly 60,000 kills I have to get a ton of matches where my k/d is above 2.00.

Sometimes I wish my roommate was decent at Halo so we could 1v1 in Halo 2. That sounds like so much fun.

You could always use Xbox Connect and 1v1 me. ;)

Am I the only one who despises 1v1's? Now I can handle 2 on 2's, but running around looking for only one person to shoot is so plain and boring. The teamwork is the main reason I'm drawn to the game.

1) I would never 1v1 you, Over, unless I was looking for an ass beating. I meant 'decent' as around my playing level. :P

 

2) I'm not really attracted to 1v1s either, but I don't have the set-up or the friends to play a 2v2 or 3v3 on Halo 2, so just messing around in a 1v1 against a friend sounds fun.
