indy500fan
Yeah you're right. WOW was released one month AFTER this chart was published. Unless I'm missing something this chart is totally bs. Joke -----> Your head The chart is real except WoW was photoshopped on. It was the one I had saved and I didn't feel like looking for the real one.

kelem_ryu
Geez! Futurama, what are you working on? That isn't the first post you make that is somehow stress related. By now i'm really curious what's going on with you.
Kill_Life
They use them in the army aswell... To keep soldiers up for 72 hours straight. Not really healthy, I think. But you get used to it, and that's always bad, so to keep awake, you'll need to tale more and more over time. It can cause you loads and loads of sleepness nights. I don't think they are healthy really... But how can something that keeps you awake be healthy anyway? And after all, you might get that awakening-boost for a while, but after it worked out, you'll feel more tired anyways. welephant
Since my teenage years I have always had some trouble getting up in the mornings, as teenagers do. Over the summer I began working part time on some evenings and weekends, and now that i'm back at college, it's hard to keep up with a 15 hour day which is mostly occuiped by one form of work or another. And so, i've started taking Pro Plus to help keep myself awake. It's working fine, they're 50mg caffeine tablets, I take 2 when I feel I need them. I'm wondering if anyone knows of any bad side effects or anything I should stray away from? I also don't wanna become dependant on caffeine, lol... thx! You don't want to become dependent on caffeine but you bypass coffee and take caffeine in pill form? Just do what I do and totally bypass anything more solid then a powder. I live a lifestyle of clubbing, and for some of the nights it's either caffeine or pills. I don't particularly fancy pumping my body full of MDMA, so I choose to take pure medicinal caffeine. Probably really bad for me, but I enjoy it.
Nero
Caffeine is the world's most popular drug/mood enhancer and yes you can become addicted and have withdrawal symptoms. Make no mistakes though Coffee isn't the only culprit, there is tea and also over 70% of America's soft drinks consumed contain caffeine (Bayview Medical Centre, 2003). Caffeine dependence is an ICD-10 diagnosis and can be tested matching criteria found on the DSM-IV. Withdrawal can include symptoms such as, headaches, fatigue, difficulty concentrating, depression, anxiety, flu-like symptoms, and sleepiness. For energy through-out the day I like to take Double X from Nutriway, a multivitamin, multimineral concentrate supplement without the withdrawal effects. They make me alert, wide awake, get me through the day without having to nanny nap and have excellent concentration. The DOUBLE X Supplement provides 12 essential vitamins (Vitamin A, C, E, B1, B2, Niacin, B6, B12, D3, Biotin, Pantothenic Acid, & Folic Acid), Vitamin C provides relief of the symptoms of cold flu and hay fever. Vitamin B6, B12 & folic acid helps to support your healthy heart by helping to maintain healthy blood cholesterol level. Also when taken one month before conception and during pregnancy, folic acid may help to reduce the risk of women having a child with neural tube defects. It also provides 8 minerals including calcium & magnesium, which are both involved in muscle activity, nerve activity & bone metabolism. Vitamin E acts as an antioxidant. I highly recommend them  That sounds more like an ad then a reply :XD: Vienna Raszyn Warsaw Klushino
Icingdeath
I drink maybe 1 or 2 cans of soda a week. I feel no effects from caffeine like at all, I have an energy drink here and there just because I like the taste. It honestly doesn't do a single thing for me. I really wouldn't call it an era. It was more of a definitive time period during which dinstinctive characteristics were expressed in similar ways.

InkofDeath
Since I was 2, I got coke in my bottle, then I began to have 1-2 cans of coke a day around age 7, roughly get 12, I had 3-4 cans a day, I have now 3-5 cans, maybe 6 per day, or more when I No-Life on the computer. Caffeine has no affect me in the doses that poeple would give you, large amounts are needed in order to affect me. That's why caffeine isn't the best solution to take to wake up. You'll take a little, and more until you wake, maybe for a month you drink that much, soon you get used to it, and get stronger coffee, eventually your drinking 4 cups a day. :-#

i_trollz_u
It's not too addicting compared to some other stuff. I was addicted to it for a while, but I weaned myself off of it. Was up to 3+ cans a day, then I dropped to 2 for about 3 months, now I am at 1. Hopefully I get to a point where I only drink it when I go out to eat once a week or so. Whao, WOW is that addictive... or is this one of them bs charts? I just feel heroin is more addictive than WOW... Did you hear about that one dumb [wagon] in Japan (maybe Korea) that committed suicide after playing WOW (or was it just warcraft?) for 32 hours straight? navyplaya
IMO 100mg of caffeine is not bad for you at all. I've started taking caffeine pills recently due to my school schedule, and I take 200mg tabs when ever I'm feeling drained. Today I took 600mg in all and the only side effects I notice when I take this much is that I "use the restroom" more often. An average cup of coffee has 200mg. So 100mg when your feeling drained is nothing thats gonna hurt you. The LOWEST known overdose of caffeine was 1.4g, and thats the lowest known, could have been a little kid or something, not sure. The most I've taken at one time would be 600mg and the most I've taken in a day is 1g. As I said above the only side effects I've noticed is that my stomach gets queezy if I haven't eaten, and I use the restroom more. I wouldn't mess with pills that aren't pure caffeine, they cost to much, and all that other crap they put in there is actually worse for you than pure caffeine. Be careful however of taking 400mg or more at a time if you have a low tolerance and haven't eaten anything all day. -All sigs by me.[My Gallery]

indy500fan
So are you saying you're taking this seriously? No one would take this picture seriously unless they are an idiot, like apparently a few people above were. You don't need to keep quoting it either, it stretches out the page.
