I am sure there is multipul algorithms; and variables that must be true in-order for a certain random event to be produced. It seems like after they added several new Random Events, the original ones seemed to appear less often. Ironically, these insane amounts only came after 17 months of not getting any of these. I've only gotten 4 frogs ever. I get many a Mysterious Old Man in all forms, and it's often a maze. I never get strange plants, shades, Drunken Dwarf, Sandwich Lady, and I can't remember when I last got an Evil Chicken.
