In the third level of the SoS, I was getting thousands of mazes, but almost no mime events. Killing ankous, I would not stop getting mime events, but only got a few mazes. Anyone else have any weird patterns like this? I think you have to do certain things to trigger certain ones. I've never had a mime event. Then I got into this merchanting frenzy and I got like 5 of them! Then, I stopped merchanting and they stopped happening. Then, I merchanted again and got one. What the heck? Then, I only ever get frog events when I am fighting something. I get Drill Demon when I teleport (Just got one now as a matter of fact). I get Mazes when I fletch, no other event. I know Jagex says they're completely random, but I see something there. I <3 Gears of War 2. Try standing in a bank or something on one square not moving just buying stuff then attempt to cut a gem. In my experince about 8 out of every 10 times you woudl get a random... Some also seem to be tagged to be more common then others. The Mysterious Old Man and Frog randoms seem to happen a lot often in general then Freaky forster and Exam wouldn't you say? It is fairly random, but not even close to true randomness. I also have had many, many frogs. 60+, at least. I have 33 tokens, but I did drop around 15 a while back. Randoms are NOT random. I got pinball just from standing around, then went to Trollheim teleport for God Wars 15 minutes later, and got ANOTHER pinball random. Well, maybe Molly and the mysterious box ones, but the difference isn't that big. but I have heard people's stories about getting like 30 of the same event before they got another, and that make me go :-k . For example, I've gotten 15 Mazes on my rune pure this week alone, and I've only created the account a month ago. Whilst I only got it 3 times on my main, in 2 whole years of playing. This also applies to other randoms, such as the Mime, Freaky Forester, etc... Pretty much what Dragon said.Thread terminated.I guess that means I'm the thread Terminator? I regularly ger random every 15-20 minutes, no matter what I am doing at that moment. Wcing, combat leveling or pking with clan I am friend of... I had those [bleeped] Sandwich ladies countless, and every time they teled me to WILDY !!! EVERY TIME !!! (Getting to gds in a middle of a 150+ opts clans war is sooo sweet). I had countless seargants, boxes, mazes... I think I have gotten any "random" 50+ times excpet Mime (2 times), FForester (1 time) and Dragon Teacher (2 times) Anything else 50+... P.S. For the clothing randoms, the numbers below are roughly how many times I have gotten each event. In the past month all i got were 2 mimes, 3 drill demons (these both I have never gotten until now, and I have been playing for 5 years). First off, no one in RS can find a TRUE pattern for random events. Except for maybe J Mods. I have seen tons of theories about how "alching gits u gud randums" and stuff like that. Sure, repeating things for a very long time (cooking, alching, ect) will get you randoms, but the actual randoms you get are random. End of story.
