It will suit my scythe.

The holiday items i like are all the 2005 christmas hats and the 2006 easter ring. After that nothing special has come.

 

 

 

Im putting my money on that the grim reaper hood will be 100% same as the slayer hood.

it was a members one, and the reason it hot a lot of voted because many members care about that kind of poll compared to the other semi-useless one

I'm looking forward to this update. I'm sure it'll be very fun trying to get the item. I personally would rather wear my santa than the hood.

 

 

 

But since I'm f2p, and f2p doesn't have any hoods, this is stiil pretty good :).

I don't even see why people really wanted the broom so bad in the first place. Its not like you would be able to use it to fly from place to place. More likely than not, all it would be would be a wieldable item that gives you an emote (like the rubber chicken.)

 

 

 

I'm not saying I wanted the hood, I voted for the bone broach myself. However I seriously doubt the Reaper Hood is just going to be a plain, black hood. I'm guessing it will look something like the Void hood, but darker and rattier looking. Possibly also obscuring your face or making it look like a skull. However, it being a unique looking item creates the obvious problem of it not going with many other outfits. However i'm sure that Jagex will think of something, they haven't come up with anything yet that i've been against.

Last year's Halloween items weren't that great: a skeleton suit that most people threw out. Christmas was also a drag for the majority, for it was a useless reindeer hat, that didn't look too great. Easter this year gave us a chicken suit, which was utterly useless. Do you believe that this year Jagex will make the Halloween event actually good (like the Easter event where you got the ring as the reward)? Or will it just be like the past few holiday events?

Last year's Halloween items weren't that great: a skeleton suit that most people threw out. Christmas was also a drag for the majority, for it was a useless reindeer hat, that didn't look too great. Easter this year gave us a chicken suit, which was utterly useless. Do you believe that this year Jagex will make the Halloween event actually good (like the Easter event where you got the ring as the reward)? Or will it just be like the past few holiday events?

Most likely will just be another item that i'll just wear for a day or so, then after seeing approximately 438,295 people wearing it i'll stow it in my costume room, where all of my other doomed items go.

 

 

 

I wish they'd actually think about the updates before they pump them out dissapointing huge amounts of people. I joined about a year ago and can safely say the holiday updates i've whitnessed are horrible. The only thing that I "use" is, oddly enough, the wintumber tree.

Thank god we didnt get the 4th one, I hate the mime event enough already.

The chicken suit was epic. I also really like the pumpkin head, I use it when I RC :P

im not expecting much.

 

 

 

so if its good its a bonus but if it sucks..well kinda expected then

i enjoy holiday events.

True, the previous holidays weren't who knows what, but I think a lot of Freeplayers, including myself, are pretty excited since this year it's going to a headgear that most haven't even unless unless someone with a skill cape and hood goes to a F2P area.

That gives me an idea! We should get a bunny suit. Only problem is without ears it would look unfinished. Then again also without the emote it would be useless unless it looked preety nice.

It's always going to be a letdown if we let our hopes, dreams and aspirations of what something that is not yet released get the better of us.

 

 

 

Seriously, we actually know the event. We know what's going to happen, and we know what the reward is. We even voted for it. How could you be let down about something like that?

 

 

 

Don't get your hopes up. The update goes underappreciated when people float on Cloud Nine and believe that what they "predict" is to be true.
