Everyone says "jellies" so it spreads around, but the reality is that they are not particularly good clue droppers. The best monsters for clues are the higher level slayer monsters, in my experience. Dragons are also pretty good. I would say its up to you to choose what you want to kill, it all depends what you have the equiptment to kill. If its plain melee however i would say ogres in the warriors guild. One day last week I got 2 (lvl 3) clues from killing 4 blue dragons. 1st drag: Coins 2nd drag: Clue Did clue and got some rune junk and sharks then went back 3rd drag: 3 laws 4th drag: Clue Did clue and got rune junk and laws =] I have never gotten a great clue reward but i have done lots of lvl 3 clues. I've had around 5 clues from ankous and I've killed around 5000 of them (no joke), but I've had a task of 130 helhounds before and gotten 5 clues. So therefore, I think that every player has a certain monster which drops clues often.
