On the topic of achievements... (Which I'm not sure why it's been carrying on all day in an image topic...)

 

 

 

In my opinion, the achievement is not 99, is not grinding, or how much it costs, or any of that. An achievement is something that you can say "Hey, I did that. By myself, without any help. This is mine."

 

 

 

So whether that be a 99, an untrimmed special cape, the most expensive skill, labouring hours, or just purely enjoying the skill for itself, it's what you've considered an achievement.

 

 

 

So if getting a 99 doesn't feel like an achievement, than you're obviously not done with the skill.

Anything over 150k xp per hour is not a real skill to me, thats just the way I go by lol

You'd group all those, which, not even powertraining- can get that, and even some of these can go faster than fletch/fm/cook. :wall:

I count, Smithing, Herblore, Thieving, Crafting, Fletching, Cooking, Ranged, Firemaking, Construction as not real skills, simply because once you have the money its no challenger theres no grind, I'm doing the grind skills first then i'll buy out easy ones such as fletch firemake etc.

 

 

 

I don't think you should be including thieving in there, since when could you "buy" thieving xp.

 

Also by "buying" xp do you mean buying items such as logs, raw fish etc. It doesn't matter if you buy all you need for 99, or whatever your desired lvl is, you still gotta train the skill.

All the (5) potions out there are from the Stealing Creation minigame. Make a potion out of a class 5 clay and you'll get (5) potion.

Alot of ifs there, resource gathering skills are most useful, instead of relying on a cash pile to buy skills, such as crafting herb etc, I personally which is my opinion as Master_Smither said.

 

 

 

Only respect people with 99 summon, if they are 99 slayer, only respect 99 smithers if they're 99 mining, and so on.

 

 

 

I think about the grind, because I personally enjoy the grind, so not so pathetic, it's my opinion, at the end of a long grind to 99, it has more of a sense of achievement than 300k xp per hour then, Mining, Slayer, Rc I really enjoyed getting to 99 because it felt like a real sense of achievement, the other 99s I got didn't.

 

Well if you actually enjoy the grind then that's fine. I suppose I was a bit on edge because it had been a long day. My post was unnecessary, I apologize.
