Epic "Tipit + Greg" 5-man team we did on floor 13 I believe. Our boss was a level 400 Bulwark Beast, who we did pretty well on. When the creature began to focus on me though, he killed me faster than I could eat. Kind of embarassing since everyone else seemed to be doing fine! =P

 

All in all, it was great fun, and gained us about 15k xp!

Either it is written on the KB or it doesn't, there isn't a factor in the end-dungeon window that calculates that, so until further research/enlightment, i dont see how not killing certain monsters has a penalty.

The level mod is based on the monsters that you kill.

When you look at that difficulty factor, where it stands for example 1:1 10%

That bonus is lowered by up to 25% if you leave monsters you find alive (found in the faq in the kb)

But what I've found, is that if I kill everything in rooms with guardian doors, and monsters that are ridiculously low leveled, that keeps my bonus high enough, to a point that the minimal extra xp you get by killing everything that is 60+ just isn't worth it in the extra time it takes.

Actually I've left a level 100+ monster here and there, while killing everything else, and took only a tiny hit to exp. Not really worth killing everything especially if killing them takes up too much time / prayer.

It is written in the KB.

You can get the full 10% bonus without killing EVERYTHING, but if you leave too many monsters alive it will go down quickly. Normally I will kill everything that is under like 90 combat except for the monsters I am forced to kill to open doors, in this way I usually get 5-10% bonus.

Honestly, most people only train this skill in order to get an exp cape, 500k exp got me 25k ranks <.<

I would strongly encourage everybody to get a bank pin. I wasn't expecting to get hacked a year or so ago, but because I had a bank pin It stopped me losing millions. I reserve the right to laugh and point at people who acknowledge bank pins but decide not to get one, then get hacked losing everything.

One. Nobody expects to be hacked.

 

Two. If you're hacked it's your own fault for going on unsafe websites or downloading corrupted files/keyloggers

 

Three. You can't reserve the right to laugh and point at people who acknowledge bank pins but decide not to get one, because many people don't have bankpins and still don't, and many people (including yourself) with bankpins get hacked. So it's not really something to laugh about seeing it's completely circumstantial.
