1_man_army
Seriously, though, talk to your lawyer. You might get a reduced sentence if you testify against your buddies. In my opinion a member of the public or a witness has every right and a responsibility to testify against somebody who committed a crime. However, if two people commit a crime fully knowing the possible result and then one of them turn on their accomplice to save their own backside, they are scum. It's just like the old cliche - if you can't do the time don't do the crime. Selling out an accomplice to me, is a terrible way to do things. It's actually fairly commonly done, I see no problem with it, it helps bag the more serious parts of the crime, get them for sure instead of a possibility of them walking. I'm well aware that it's commonplace but I still don't agree with it. If an adult is part of a crime he/she should be willing to accept their punishment . He who learns must suffer, and, even in our sleep, pain that cannot forget falls drop by drop upon the heart, and in our own despair, against our will, comes wisdom to us by the awful grace of God. - Aeschylus (525 BC - 456 BC)
MrMateo
I think this is a bogus post, but if it's real give me the case number, state, and county of the alleged crime. My dad is a lawyer and he thinks you should do 3 months but you'll probably have to plead guilty to felony and you'll get probation.
foofoomagoo
5 to 6 months in prison man. You were just an accomplice so they let you off with a little less time. But to be honest you would have been better off not going and getting caught with narcotics. 26M Crafting XP

Yeah, if you have low enough moral standards to rob stores, ect, then you probably aren't honorable enough to take the fall for your buddies. Besides, if he doesn't rat them out first, chances are they'll do the same to him. 'Honour among thieves' probably existed back in the 18th century, but thats about it... Rcty
yes its real..and why?? i dont no why. everything has its purpose in life tho. just young kids thinking we could steal and get quick cash. thats why we did it. oh and because we are dumb. and nadril if your going to just flame? please go else where thanks If everything in life has a purpose (which I believe it does), then what was the purpose of you trespassing into the compost site? If this is real: You cannot prove that you did not steal from the site, and while you and your friends were at the site things were stolen, which could have been avoided had you not gone. Guest
Yup, that sucks. I have a clean record but know how your feeling. I do a lot of lock picking and twice have been called in the next day as a suspect, so like I said, I know what your feeling. I got off for free both times for one reason though, NEVER STEAL/BREAK ANYTHING. Sure picking your way into an abandoned hospital and having chair races down the hallways is one thing... but stealing laptops and a plasma TVs? *whistle* That's just dumb. Thats serious cash and the owners are going to be pissed. Both times with me there was no real evidence (since we left everything the way it was) and there was no need to bring anything to court since nothing was missing and no one really cared. Oh and by the way, the first time I got caught it scared me strait for a good 3 years. Eventually I started doing it again and got almost caught again, this time I'm taking the sign. I no longer do stupid stuff like that, yes it's fun and it's a thrill but it's too risky. One felony and your future is pretty messed up. You can't get a government job, you can't go to college... heck, you can't even work at Target with a felony So the authorities caught you having chair races in the hallway of an abandoned hospital and you had to go to Court over it? You obviously would of pleaded guilty since you got caught "red-handed" right? So if the Judge let you off, what was the point of the Court Case? Sorry I'm confused. :? malo2
this is kind of obvious. You are getting the same sentence as your friends, you assisted in the crime by providing transportation, you were involved as much as anybody else. I'm guessing all of you will be getting a few months in prison. Lastfm
