andufusthebronze
About the conservitive party suggestion that the blazer is a powerful garment, enforces discipline and instils pride, and cracking down on lax and causual dress is the way forward. ^ Current events. The effects of WWII had on the community, and on the world as a whole, and how different the world might be without it. For example, if it wheren't for world war two, my grand father wouldn't of met my grand mother. ^ History. How picaso's art effected the arting world. ^ Art. The effect of shakespear had on modern litrature and language. How we wouldn't speak half the words we do, etc. ^ Literature. Thats one for each topic. runescapeloser22
15 pages, wow  I thought my 3 page essay was tough  I'd say Current Events, theres a lot of events you can write about that are...current. or does it have to be about one specific event? InkofDeath
I'd do current events. You probably won't need as much research, and you can pretty much do every idea in current events, because you can find out in real time the answers. However some idea's you wouldn't be able to use since you couldn't find the answers for, however you could adapt that into your paper for history. Current Events, and do something political related. Anything else would just be a local event, which would be boring, and unsatisfying to the reader. Probably might try to do the Birth Rate Decrease in Europe, or some kind of problem in England. Something that isn't close to home. :-w

Zonorhc
Write a paper on the historical development of mass media and its effect on societies in context. That's roughly 800 years' worth of sources for you to cover. Start now. Ginger_Warrior
You cant ask for homework help. My thread was already locked. Im getting a moderater to fix this up. There's a difference between having someone else doing your work for you, and someone else suggesting a topic for yourself to go away and learn about. History is a great subject to choose if you're looking for lots of information. After all, there's no right or wrong answer in a judgement about history, only those which have analysis and backing, and those which don't. If you're looking for a topic from me though... I'd investigate WWII, and its effect on the USA, Europe, and indeed the World. You could talk about anything from the black civil rights movement in America, to the spread of Communism in Eastern Europe following the collapse of Nazism, and the start of the Cold War. Plenty to talk about there. | Favourite Game Music | Last.fm | HYT Friend Chat Rules |

Lenin64
You could talk about anything from the black civil rights movement in America, to the spread of Communism in Eastern Europe following the collapse of Nazism, and the start of the Cold War. Plenty to talk about there. Juts make sure you're objective about that...no need for personal bias to enter a paper of this magnitude. But yea, the effects of WWII on the world is really easy. Or, you could do it about the Reniassance; Church corruption, impact of artists, how it has influenced the modern world, etc. I had 14 pages on my outline alone for that  [/i] Command the Murderous Chalices! Ape
I have to say History is the easiest to choose from, it'll pad out 12 pages without a doubt, but to be frank; you'll die of boredom writing it. Find something you're passionate about, and write about that. I was going to suggest studying poetry and writing about how different styles of poetry have come about, who made them come about, when they come about, etc... But then, you need to know alot about poetry. So yeah, think of something you enjoy talking about and enjoy writing- something you have a strong opinion on. New sig to come! At the end of a history essay, or whatever, you have to make a judgement one way or another. What I, as a history student, have to make sure of is that the conclusion I arrive to is represented by stats, and a just analysis. My history teacher has frequently referred to my more liberal views in my essays being obvious, but that they've been properly backed up, and the essay would receive high marks. | Favourite Game Music | Last.fm | HYT Friend Chat Rules |
Giordano
You have to pick one for yourself, find something intresting that you like and write it. No sense writing a paper on George Washington if you loath history. "The cry of the poor is not always just, but if you never hear it you'll never know what justice is." Tribal
I love history, and that's what I was aiming for, that or current events. So I asked my teacher If I could do D-Day, and she told me I could, but I have to zone in on a certain part of D-Day. It can't be too broad, or else the topic will not be approved. I wanted to do WWII as a whole, effects on the world etc. but it's too "broad" and I have to narrow it down. The teacher is being extremely pessimistic about this whole thing. klankaos
If you ever think about music, the effects of music media and styles on the population as a whole could be good. Talk about the change from classical music, through good classic rock, and into today's rap/hip-hop based music society, and what could have caused the changes, and what changes in society as a whole could have been caused. If I had to write a paper, that's what I'd do. Being immature is a part of being mature.
