My World, My Location

Does this annoy anyone else or is it just me? I make a deal on the forums or over pm then get "my world, edgeville" or where ever.

 

 

 

I always make to effort to meet someone halfway but i turn down deals when people demand i come to them.

Say I'm selling 20k maple logs. I don't want to change locations or world hop, because if I have that much of something, I want people to come to me, unless someone is buying all 20k. If I'm selling one whip, I want to sell it quickly, so I will go wherever on x world.

 

 

 

I usually try for my location, their world because I have a finite amount of law runes.

Well usually people selling in bulk they want you to come to them because they get many buyers. However if they are just selling one item or something it can be a compromise between place and world :P

When people say that I say, "my world, your place or my place, your world". If they don't bother to do that then they aren't worth my time :P.

Like most people here I try to do half half, either my world your place or the opposite, depending on the situation. If I'm just doing a service and don't get anything out of it, I ask for my world my place, if I'm the one receiving it, I go meet the person myself.

I always try for my world, his/her place. I don't know why but switching worlds annoy the hell outta me.

It depends what i'm selling. If I'm selling a lot of stuff, I will NOT switch worlds for fear of losing out on someone trying to contact me.

depends on what im selling, if i have alot of buyers ill force them to come to me

 

or if im doing something ill tell them to come to me

 

but if its something i cant sell fast ill go to them

I always do my world, your place. Just so I don't have to re-insert my PIN, but law runes are expendable.

i only say that wehn im selling mass items...like 20k maples or something...but i do sometimes go to them when i sell mass items if they buy it all

What pisses me off is when someone is selling for a certain price on the forums, you meet them, and then they jack up the price.

That's called "bait and switch". If someone does that, I don't trade with them. Period. Only way to send a message that it's not acceptable.

 

 

 

As for trading location, it's really just a matter of being reasonable, given what's being bought or sold. Usually I offer to either switch worlds or teleport; if the other person is making a trade I really want, I'll do both. If it's obvious that I'm doing them the favor -- a small trade, which I hate -- I expect them to come to me.

i just make a forum post about what I'm selling and the amount that I'm selling and my location. Then people just show up. thats how I sell nature runes and buy trees for farming.

When I'm buying something, they usually say their world but a neutral location. :-k
