I have been wanting to hit my fletching 99 for a while now and today I broke down and said all day nothing but fletching and I want to see if I can get 2.2 million exp done in a day. I was wondering if its been done before? This means from now at 4:55 am I have to cut and string 14k yew longbows...

Theoretically, if you're extremely rich, you gain get fletching EXP very, very fast. Fletching a set of 10 dragon darts gives 250 EXP, and you can fletch about two sets every second. Thus, in an eight-hour period, you can gain around 14.4m EXP. Of course, you'd have to be a billionaire. :P

You should try counting things like this yourself, it isn't as hard as it might seem when you know the numbers you're working with.

In this case I've completely forgotten exp per hour achieved in fletching, but some numbers I found:

If you have 15 hours a day to play, not including breaks, lunch, toilet, etc. then exp hour you must achieve is:

2,200,000/15 = 146.666k/hour. Doesn't sound very possible using yews to me.

Now being perhpas a bit more realistic as far as keeping up your health (though still very bad :P ), 10 hours.

2,200,000/10 = 220k/hour. Definetly becoming too high.

Perhaps you only get 5 hours a day?

2,200,000/5 = 440k/hour. Unless you collected yourself a few thousands drag dart tips the other day I don't see it happening :P

As said before I completely forget how fast exp is, so I assume 100k/hr is fair?

2,200,000/100,000 = 22. Thus, if you have 100k exp per hour you must play 22 hours a day, with not a second to go to the toilet either. Probably not about to happen unless you don't expect to be raising out of your chair to sleep, eat or live your life some time soon.

I haven't fletched in quite a few months but I think you can get like 300k xp / hour so being able to get 2.2m would take you ~8 - 9 hours of non-stop fletching.

Edit: This would be with the method of fletching and stringing magic logs / bows.

Why do you have to do it in one day?

Just chill and take longer. No reason to ruin what could be a nice day by spending 16 hours repeatedly hitting String all.

If I let myself keep jumping around from skill to skill or if something new comes out I am going to get distracted and not finish what I intended to.

Do I smell another untrimmed fletching cape #-o

LOL unfortunately yes, but I am lining up another 99 after this because I don't want to be a nubcake for only having 99 fletching

Nothing wrong with untrimmed Fletch Capes. I had one this April, but once I got it, I already had 85 RC(rced my own nats to alch bows with), 87 Slayer, and I even had 85 Mining to Runite Alch the bows. Any one of those levels is probably more of an accomplishment than 99 Fletching, but Fletching was a good first 99. Looking at your stats, Str would be a good second 99. My second 99 was Attack, got it after 90 Slayer.

Yeah thanks for the feedback and I was actually thinking about getting 99 Strength next. I don't know if I want to do pest control or train on a list of monsters/do slayer assignments.

If you're gonna pc why not just get all 99s?

Very nice 10/10

For a second when I was looking at your drop-list picture. Ilooked at the dragon longsword and said "They have a dragon longsword now??" ohh I'm tired :wall:

..., then I noticed a gravestone where our tank was supposed to be and my health was a 1 digit number again.
