People who ask for levels

Featured Replies

In my opinion, people that say ______ lvls are frickin annoying. I mean you can have idle chat but why does everyone need to state their levels every 5 minutes. If your gonna say something say something while fishing, woodcutting, ect. why does it have to be to ask for everyones levels?

If you choose your beliefs/lifestyle simply based on what your parents want, then you are a weak minded individual and are not even worthy of calling yourself a person.

In my opinion, its not that big a deal and people just want to see how they stack up to everyone around them.

Don't like it, don't respond to them.

Lots of people do it and lots of people reply so they must enjoy it, no point ruining their fun. :)

It's because if your, say, woodcutting, you don't want to be cutting logs with ten level 99s. Usually you want to find the least people with the lowest world. That way you get more. Plus you can use it as a chance to show off your awesomeness.

It is impossible to exaggerate the unimportance of almost everything.

What's wrong with that? Runescape's a competitive game; it's what makes it fun. People just want to compare themselves to others as a motivation to improve. :-k

Now when it does get annoying is when people as you for your level when you're wearing a skillcape of that skill. Happened twice. <.<

I don't particularly mind it, you get it mostly when woodcutting, hunting, and fishing. It doesn't really bother, it's kind of interesting (In my opinion) to know what other people's levels are.

That's just me though.

The only thing about this that annoys me is that people assume you are a macro when you didn't tell them your x level

Strangely with WotLK so near, I wished I could delay it a bit to push through that last TBC content in MH/BT :'(.

What bothers me is that when you're training combat people will just ask for "Str lvl", its never attack level, defence lvl, hp etc. Its not like strength is the only combat skill.

The Eleventh Commandment:Thou Shalst only say "Amen, brother".

Amen, brother

Amen, brudda (referring to the 10th commandment)

That's impossible.

I always ask "Def level" first so I can tell if I'm talking to a pure....

How does it bother you? Are you jealous by hearing the people shout out their superior levels?

:( to superior levels.

*sigh*

There is a link in my goals picture. <--An Unnecessary Update

:O

On a somewhat similar note, I hate when people (tipiters) have drop parties and/or have a lot of friends come and "gratz" them on a menial level such as 51 farming.
