My friends and I came up with a parody song to reflect the mood of everyone after the announcement of the new changes. I'm still working out some of the lyrics, so if you have a better idea, or can think of an aspect of Runescape you think should be in the song let me know. (Note: This song in no way reflects my actual feeling towards the updates, just the general feeling of some people. I don't really mind the updates.)

 

 

 

We're also hoping to get this recorded into a song, and turn this into a music video for YouTube. If you have some singing talent, let me know. :)

Taking up all of our skilling spots,

So Gower met with his Jagex staff,

 

they thought then let out an evil laugh (They brainstormed then made an evil laugh)?

So while pk battles were being fought,

 

The jagex crew revealed their plot.

 

The players stood astill;

 

Their "fix" was over-kill.

 

 

 

Most of the members did not smile,

 

The Varrock rioters were clearly riled,

I actually thought that this one was very well done.

 

 

 

That means he just spent more time working on it. But does it explain why they hate the update? No, it's just some mourning an reminiscing. It's not bad, and frankly if you're into nerdy remixes then you'll love how well it's done. It's just completely pointless to try and get a point across.

+1. =D> Simply put, you need to take a break from complaining about all of Jagex's crappy updates and RuneScape, take a big deep breath, step away from the computer, and go outside, and then exhale, and do something constructive, instead of trying to get a weak point across in a way that makes your point weaker and pointless. Wow, some of you need to lighten up. By the way, I made several suggestions to the Jagex crew, and two of them look like they'll actually be implemented (increased trades based on level, item lending). The song itself is no reflection of how I actually feel about the game. It's more a reflection of the general reaction of members in general. I personally have no problem with the updates. We wrote the song to have a little fun, which I guess is a foreign concept to some.

Well, updates and things don't always get rid of people you don't like.

 

 

 

Look at you for example, you are ignorant in understanding other peoples views, and think they are a kiddy because they are effected by an update more than you. Could have been a perfectly honest player.

Personally, i think he has taken a break from runescape, and so has the time on his hands to mini-campaign/mourn for the old RS. Futile, but we all live in hope.

I didn't like it to be honest. The song didn't have much to do with pking or the update whatsoever :wall: . Chopping yews? Seeing bots? Santa Hat drops? Some dude growing a [cens.]ing guam seed?!?!
