Anyway, I've finally become less awkward with the opposite gender and I'm actually now able to like talk to girls like they're just people which I could never do. Anyway, I'm 14, and I feel like the day of my first kiss may be nearing. That's why I'm posting: I'm 14 and never kissed a girl. This is gonna sound excedingly lame, but how do you do it? Will I know what to do when the time comes? I was 15 and a half when I had my first kiss. Everyone has a different story. Some people start in elementary school, others don't even start talking to girls until highschool. One universal law though - your first kiss WILL be awkward. And you WILL be nervous. Sometimes it turns out better than others, but with practice you WILL get much better. It'll come pretty much naturally. You'll feel when the moment is right, trust me.

 

 

As for my "random side commentary", this thread should know by now I am very open about my problems and solving other's here on TIF. but this problem in particular is very deep seated, and I don't feel comfortable talking about it out loud or online. I want no record that it ever happened. I don't know what's worse, the fact that I feel no remorse for my mistake, or the fact that I feel bad for having no remorse...

Don't worry about it. Do not even think about it. A kiss is nothing, just remember that. Go in with absolutely no expectations - in fact, expect a negative experience. Because then you get your mind blooooooown. Well, kind of. Kissing is nice, but I've gotten to the point where I'll kiss most girls I know just in friendship, and even a few of my guy friends (just cheek, completely heteronormative).

 

Your first kiss, you probably don't need to worry about tongue or anything. Just remember reciprocation is a major factor, especially if you're unsure. Whatever she does, mimic it. Don't force your lips to move, just let them be all soft and effortless.

 

You will know what to happen when it happens, don't worry about it and just enjoy it! Even a bad kisser that loses themselves in the experience is better than some cold, calculating machine-kisser. However, a few tips ...

- Lean to the left. It's different and girls notice this sort of thing. You really have to be standing and facing each other for this.

- Pay attention to where your hands are. Her ribs, the side of her face, very gently tugging the roots of her hair on the back of her head - all very good things to do for a tender little peck.

- If you feel her tongue rubbing against your lips, all bets are off.

 

Recognizing the right moment might be tougher. Some girls are ballsy and will straight up tell you, otherwise they might look at your lips a lot when you're talking or be more touchy-feely. Or, you could be a man and just say, "I'd sure like you kiss you ..." and [bleep]ing do it!

Although I prefer leaning to the right and having the girl on my left...I suppose I'm weird like that. but hands are important, especially the more intense kisses. and PLEASE for the love of god don't go tounge first. Christ almighty that's gross. hands on back of her head, other hand on her leg or "love handles" are ideal conditions. Make your lips soft, but don't keep them perfectly still either. I'm not saying you should eat her face or anything, but being too still is boring. Also , lean toward her, it shows power and "alpha-male" qualities.

aquariusman, imo it wouldn't be your business unless you were close friends with his girlfriend. When you hit 18-19 you start realizing cheating happens fairly often. I remember reading an article a while back that said 3/4 women have admitted to cheating. It's probably higher for men.

If I ever caught one of my friend's cheating I'd straight up confront them to hell and back, and would make damn sure they went and told their boyfriend/girlfriend that they did.

 

Oh and Panzerlord, don't worry about not being a pro kisser at 14...it's not like there's a sign on your back saying "Never been kissed". I'm 21 (junior in college) and nobody would guess that I'm a virgin and have never had a girlfriend, let alone kissed a girl outside of random drunk chics coming up to me and frenching for like 10 seconds.

Most guys will lean to the right, I think Lent is saying lean to the left because the girl will notice and it will make it stand out from any other kiss she may have had. It goes back to the whole don't do what everyone else is doing idea.

It's not always the case, I was 16½ before my first kiss, it wasn't awkward at all and the best kiss I've ever had.

Yes, I'm 20 and never kissed a girl period. At least with lip to lip kissing. And you know what? I don't really care. I think I was close to with my girlfriend before we stopped dating. I at least felt the tension there that I probably should have, and I let my eyes wander to her lips a little too often, but I never actually did it because we were getting emotionally close too fast anyway, escalating the physical closeness might have ended the relationship sooner than it did.

I didn't want a girlfriend until at least the end of my junior year of high school. Since then I have put effort into it, and it really did fall into place with my first girlfriend.

 

And as for being 20 and still having my philosophies RPG, what can I say, I'm fairly old-fashioned, and I like women who like that about me.

Though I did get a kick out of it when you made that comment a while back of me reminding you of a younger you when I'm actually older than you. :razz:

eh, all I know is the "let nature take its course" way of getting women will lead to very few relationships [GOOD ONES] but it takes a LOT of time, and a LOT of patience. Something I lack these days. I suppose I'm more on Lent's side of the fence than FlyingJJ's these days. In a sense I'm disappointed in myself, in another sense, I don't care because there's women everywhere to make me happy. Does that make me shallow? Does that make me flawed? Does that mean I have some sort of deep underlying issue?
