July 30, 200916 yr Take Jaerkd00d's advice. Forget about love, just have a good time. You're 13. I would say something about 'love' but I don't know what love is. Neither would you. Your past three relationships, you've been cheated on, you haven't found love yet. Like jaerk said, it's a two way street. Really, break up with her. If you do think you have a good time with her, stay with her. If not, break up with her. You'll also get your answer of whether she's "in love" with you based on what she does after that. I would have broken up with her right when I heard she cheated on me. She's disrespected you enough alreayd by cheating on you. There's no such thing as regret. A regret means you are unhappy with the person you are now,and if you're unhappy with the person you are, you change yourself. Thatregret will no longer be a regret, because it will help to form the new, better you. So really, a regret isn't a regret. It's experience.
July 30, 200916 yr You've been dating for about a month ... She's cheated on you ... Your conversation made you both look fairly ridiculous ... Oh, you must be in love. After all you're thirteen! What would anyone else know? You've been dating a whole month or two, and you even leave each other myspace comments! Let me seriously ask you something. How many dates have you been on with her? Do you know, say, anything she might be afraid of? Do you trust her? I know kids like you. And it's really, really ridiculous. I'm not trying to be an [wagon] here, I'm trying to make you look at it and realize that you're [bleep]ing up your early teenage years beyond recognition. You know what happened to the kids that started out like that? Some killed themselves. Some found weed, and became such potheads that they can't do a single thing besides sit in their house, smoke, and write crappy music. And some realized, wow, this sucks. This girl in particular is looking like one of those people. You, I'm not totally sure about. You're trying to act way more mature than you are. You're saying you love her, and would never lie to her, and all that crap in your AIM conversation, but you don't even stand up for yourself when she sits there and makes you look like an [wagon]? From what you've supplied, I wouldn't even call her my friend. I know I'm being harsh, but you're seriously dragging yourself down. You can be like those kids, and drag yourself into a cave of pity, depression, and all sorts of ridiculousness, or you can realize, "Hey, I'm thirteen! I pretty much hit puberty very recently! I am pretty dang healthy! I should go enjoy this!" That's about the most mature thing you can do. That's all everyone should do. Act your age. Not how people your age are acting. You know those kids that pretty much just laugh, happily and heartily? Most of the time, those are the ones that get it. Just enjoy yourself. Sitting crying and cutting yourself over someone you think you love (yet have known for a few weeks or a month or two), that's not enjoyment. Getting wasted and knocking up some girl at a party (the other extreme on our list) isn't quite so fun either (well, the during is probably more fun than cutting yourself ...). Try and find a place where you're just happy. Laugh a lot, at ridiculous stuff. Who gives a [cabbage] if some other thirteen year old thinks crying in your room all day is mature? Be a kid again. This is advice I gave three days ago to a guy I know and used to be friends with who, while he isn't one of those dark and gloomy types, is starting to get really into pot and whom I haven't seen all summer because that's really about all her likes doing anymore. You're getting advice for people that are really not much more mature than you, but at our age that can make a big difference. I'd say sorry if I stepped on any toes, but I don't care a whole lot. People who get offended by this should realize that's exactly my point. catch it now so you can like it before it went so mainstream

July 31, 200916 yr I just had the funnniest comversation of my life. Easily the most fun. With a drunk chick. I know it's unethical to hook-up with drunk girls (which among millions of other reasons is why I didn't) but I learned so much about the average teenage girl in just one, fairly slurred conversation. First of all, she was a varsity high school cheerleader, who's brother was the high school hero of 2007. So she has a very high seat in popularity. I'm an ex-runescape player, admittingly low on the social food chain. I along with my firend talked to her for about half an hour and learned alomst everything about her. We were just hanging out in the park and she walked up and started talking to us. Comlpetely confident. She told us where she lived, who she hated, who she hang out with, what grade she was in and her name. She then asked us those questions (about 4 times each, because she was drunk, lol). It seemed so simple to socialize with her. I've never found it easier to talk to anyone. Not that the conversation was all that deep, considering any sentence with more than 7 sylables was completely over her head. I learned just how easy it is to pick up a drunk girl. Especially a happy one. She couldn't remember my name for the life of her, nor any other info I gave her, but I have a feeling giving her my number would have been enough to get me remembered. So, as it turns out, alot of what Iamdan has been saying is aplicable. A) apply to emotion B) body language is key C) CONFIDENSE D) have a few conversation starters ready It's really as simple as that. I was truly shocked. Just remember to stay sober, yourself ;) Quote Quote Anyone who likes tacos is incapable of logic. Anyone who likes logic is incapable of tacos. July 31, 200916 yr What age do you peeps think 'love' actually comes in hand, not just the 12 year old kinda stuff? You raise an interesting question. Personally, I think it varies from person to person. You could fall in love with the one you are going to be with as young as, say, 14. However, there are some that it doesn't happen to til their 20s or later. Though for a straight answer, I'd say 16+. Denizen of Darkness| PSN= sworddude198
July 31, 200916 yr So, as it turns out, alot of what Iamdan has been saying is aplicable. Lol. Natural selection and people both work in predictable ways ;) What age do you peeps think 'love' actually comes in hand, not just the 12 year old kinda stuff? Depends on the person and their situation. I was in love at like 14 and again at 15, they both ended badly. I'm 18 now and been in a bunch of relationships, but haven't been in love since.
July 31, 200916 yr What age do you peeps think 'love' actually comes in hand, not just the 12 year old kinda stuff? What I call "Disney Love" can happen as early as 12. But real, mature love really can't happen until ~16. Even that is pushing the limit. Quote Quote Anyone who likes tacos is incapable of logic. Anyone who likes logic is incapable of tacos. July 31, 200916 yr What age do you peeps think 'love' actually comes in hand, not just the 12 year old kinda stuff? Personally, i believe it can happen any time once you start going through the whole puberty cycle. I've been in love, properly, about twice in my life, one of the times is right now with the person im going out with, and i'm only 16. I hate it when people say " omg i'm in love with them " after like 2 days of going out, because, they clearly don't, it's just your mind tricking you into thinking you are. But i also hate it when people say 'people at the age of 14 - 16 don't know what love is and don't really experience it', because i just find it offensive that people can't believe that i and others cant experience real emotions towards someone, i'm not saying i fall in love with EVERYONE, but i can fall in love. I've experienced first hand what it's like. In some cases it can be good, having a closeness to someone that is a special bond that only you and the other have that infactuates you both together in the first few months, which over time turns into trust and an even deeper love which isn't shown as clearly, but means so much more. When you reach this point, and the right age, you can seriously think about marriage, living together, having children and spending the rest of your lives together. Although, it can have a lot of negatives too, if the person ever goes away for a long period of time you miss them, A LOT, because they are a major part of your life, some people may be afraid to express emotions such as annoyance towards the other, in fear that it might wreck what they have, and if this builds up it can make you fall out of love. It's always healthy to express your feelings, if nescercary, because if you are 'in love' you will work through it and deal with it. Ofcourse, the final disadvantage being that if you do end up breaking up, and you're on the side that is still in love with the other, it can take quite a long time to get over how much your lifestyle will be changing, and the fact that person wont be a major part of your life anymore. July 31, 200916 yr Personally, I have no clue what the hell love is, so I can't say when I think you can find it. Also, I don't think that you realize you've found when you do find it. I like to think that when you get to 'love', it's been a steady incline to that point in the relationship. So basically, anytime you can find love, but you won't realize it until a while later. I have to ask a second question. What do you think love is? I can't place an exact definition on it. I just know that trusting the person more than anyone is part of it. I don't claim to have ever been in love, so I can't give you a definition. There's no such thing as regret. A regret means you are unhappy with the person you are now,and if you're unhappy with the person you are, you change yourself. August 1, 200916 yr Personally, I have no clue what the hell love is, so I can't say when I think you can find it. Also, I don't think that you realize you've found when you do find it. . That is one of the most intelligent things I've ever heard on Tip.It OffTopic as a whole. My definition of love is simply caring, mutual, compassion with a bit of thoughtfulness. Romantic love (ie. relationship love) changes for everyone. It's unfortunatly tainted by the media, and is often a confusing part of life. You can't know what it means for you until you are in a situation in which you can learn it for yourself. Some have superficial love and look fr money and looks. Some love funny people. But I think it's more the ability to cooperate with a person, hate a person and lov ea person all at once, and then still be able to look them in the eye and feel exactly the same everytime. In a good way of course. Quote Quote Anyone who likes tacos is incapable of logic. Anyone who likes logic is incapable of tacos.
