So me and my best friend have feelings for each other, but we constantly argue about little things, I never get worked up but she usually is mad when I say something or do something. She argues with me as if I'm her boyfriend (which im not), and almost always she expects me to do things for her that again is something a boyfriend would do and not a friend would do. The problem is that she talks about guys all the time, guys she likes and thinks are cute, guys she wants to go out with, but I'm never mentioned. I know she likes me for a fact, but when we talk she acts as if she has no feelings for me, but what I don't understand is why talk about guys around me when you like me? I want to ask her out but this is one thing stopping me from it. What is she trying to tell me?

Talk to the girl (and the friend who lives in the house) and make sure it's ok if you go. Then ask your uncle if you can go. If he says yes, then go over! Also, you could take your brother along too and he could play with his friend. It might help convince your uncle to let you go if he's not the type who would let you do it.

I live in northern New Jersey and she lives in the middle of North Carolina... I can't find a decent scaled map in 2 seconds of Google searching :/

Bear with me :/ I went on vacation last summer (Summer of '09 sounds so weird XD) to a beach place thing with my family and my brother's friend's family. Uh... My brother's friend's cousins (1 dude, 1 dudette... both approx. my age) came too. Uh... long story short... The female one likes me (99% on this one >.>... mutual) and they're coming to visit my brother's friend (their cousin) on Saturday. She invited me to their (my brother's friend's) house. My brother's friend's family doesn't know this... and I kinda think the parents hate me :/ I'm kinda friends with my brother's friend's brother... Keep that in mind :/ Uh... My parent's are leaving for a week tomorrow, so I'll be staying with my uncle and my brother at my house for the week. My uncle thinks that I'm [bleep]ed up in the head (Can't entirely disagree with him there :/) and I dunno if he'll let me go, or if they'll let me go... Uh... I'm fairly positive that that was horribly worded. Feel free to ask for any clarification :/ I need your advice on what to do :/ Yeah, yeah... Long distance relationships don't work... I know It's better than no relationship? I don't really have any friends of any kind, so I'm hoping this can be a possible learning experience for me... Wow... I don't even understand what I just typed XD... So... Yeah... What do I do? :S

Well, I'm not expert at long-distance relationships (or relationships in general...) but it sounds like you're both willing to try, at least. Who knows, it might actually work. I do wish I could give some sort of advice though. :|

This year, I currently have to take a certain class. Now, in that class, I got lucky (I guess) and got the seat right beside the.... hottest (not sure if that's the right word to use) girl around. I've been flirting with her for quite some time now, and I'm wondering just one thing.

Now, one thing that you'd notice about her is that she.. doesn't really care about sex and openly talks about it. That can result into some pretty funny conversations. And I'm wondering if this means that she's into me, or just her old self: she turned to me, asked me to spread my fingers as far away from each other as possible, then tells me that's the size of my penis, then she commented on how her hand is so small and that she wouldn't like to be a guy. I lol'd and I'm not sure what to make of this.

 

That seriously got me thinking, seeing that I got quite a few mixed signals.....

I bolded/italisized/underlined the point of interest. Don't think of a relationship as a need. Think of it as a luxury, a desire. Thinking of it as a need leads to all sorts of issues, mostly involving abandonment and dependency.

It may be the best option in some cases, but I don't particularly like promoting man-whoredom. Plus he would have to deal with being attatched to a chick and then essentially intententionally friendzoning himself. This process is easy, but it's not exactly fun.

A lot of people make long distance relationships work, I'd say thats a far better choice given the situation.

I'm going to make much progress this year, I can tell. Before I do anything girl related I'm going to get a job, I shall also be getting my licence soon. I think the best way to do these things is to get a few friends, ask if they want to go to the beach on x day at x time, then once the few of you are going you start to ask pretty much everyone else to go, then you get to be the guy who hosted the awesome party at the beach. Then people will hopefully start inviting you to parties and stuff.

To Mage: Go to something, like a club or a mixer. Not a small place where people go to enjoy a quiet night with friends. Stand out like a mother [bleep]er. Have a gimmick that people instantly remember. Be friendly, open, and loud. Meet everybody in the whole damn building, but if there's a particular group that's cool (or has the best looking girls), leave a little bit more for them. You be the one to initiate fun. Club's closing, invite people to a cool restaurant close by. "Drinks on me" can work, but being more creative is better.

 

That's a good way to meet people.
