Let me reiterate, I have a feeling my original message didn't come across very clearly (my fault). It appears I used a full-stop where I did not intend for one to be.

 

Having sex with randoms without a condom (by-which I mean "Pill and/or Pull-out" ) is beyond imbecilic. I'll happily have sex with randoms as long as there I use a condom. If the opportunity arose where I did not have a condom available to have sex with a random, I would turn down the sex because an evening of romping may follow up with months (or worse years) of difficulty later on. 

 

I was trying to say is that your preferred methodology offers you zilch protection against STIs.  

Alright, so the most basic of basic questions that has been answer a hundred times before, but here it goes again so that I can have an excuse and possibly receiving some new and useful advice. Now on to the meat.

 

Just went on a school March Break trip thing and while on it got the feeling that one of the girls might be interested in me, obviously did nothing because I am a kitty when it comes to girls plus didn't want to make any issues while still travelling. Now we are back and I want to ask her on a date but I am now remembering that last year a friend told me that she hated me, possibly changed no idea, and additionally I never actually see her at school. It is due to this that I am wondering if a Facebook message is a reasonable way to go about this or whether I should try to find here while at school and ask her in person. Personally, I'm thinking Facebook message is the less best option but probably the one I should go with.

 

From the wall of text I'm sure it is pretty clear that my kitty statement is true and that I am way over thinking the entire thing and should probably just message her but thanks in advance TIF users.

I would do some small talk over FB to find out if she really hates me. Should be quite obvious. If she doesn't then well, go for it, either ask her out online or, preferably IRL.

Rpg - I tend to do that regardless. Just not good at initiating contact or concersation hence more curious about whether Facebook or in person.

To update, I broke up with my long term boyfriend a few weeks back because I did a reflection on myself in general and gathered I have more peace of mind when I don't have him in my life.

 

Anyway got [bleep]ing catfished on tinder by a high school kid but luckily didn't meet up because I put two and two together when he kept dodging the suggestion of getting drinks at a bar on Friday night and kept insisting that he come back to my place. Bit creepy that high school kids are on tinder trying to shag university girls though.

Had the awkward day after conversation with the hookup guy and I don't think I'll repeat it tbh. Bit of an ass, talks more than performs that kinda guy.

 

Also explained to my mum my reasons for breaking up with my ex and she's done the typical "girl you're better than him" pep speech and it was actually really annoying that I had to beg her to stop. I don't need reassurance, I know I broke up with him for my own reasons but parents will be parents. Also done the "you'll find a guy soon" and I don't want to. I'm actually genuinely happy in myself now which I haven't been in a while so I'm just loving the company of my good friends at the minute and I hope it stays that way for a long time to come.
