February 11, 200917 yr NEWS FLASH: My friend who also likes her is now going out with someone else. So yay, down to two. Well that's good. Now all you gotta do is stick it out until your dream girl and your friend break up. It's against my better judgment to encourage you chasing this girl, but if you really insist...Wait til they break up. You'll be ebetter off if your friend dumps her cause then two things will happen: 1 - he won't care if you start seeing her, she's not his problem anymore 2 - she needs someone to comfort her, ie. YOU If she dumps him though, it's a whole different ball game. You got to give your buddy a grace period, and I'd suggest making sure he's okay with you seeing her. That's as much as I'm going to budge on the subject. i can't in all good concience tell you to break them up or anything of that sort. Quote Quote Anyone who likes tacos is incapable of logic. February 11, 200917 yr I'm fighting with Brent at the moment (surprise!! :P) because he might as well go be married to his job than me. Yesterday I had to undergo a day surgery to have a look at how my cells are reacting. I find out, they have spread 90-180 degrees and where it has spread might be the early stages of cancer. So I have to go back a few more times to get it cut out, although there is a 20% chance it will just grow back. It also drastically reduces the chances of having another child (although we've proved doctors wrong with that before). I call him and the call lasted a whole of 40 seconds? if that. He cared more that his boss would find him on the phone to me than what they found. Then when he came home, he didn't even apologize, he just tried to explain his actions. I'm sorry but if the person I'm going to spend the rest of my life has just been told something might be cancer, my ceo can go jump out of the top story window. So I'm beginning to question things... It's not a big fight just a "I really don't want to talk to you right now" moment. The only people who tell you that you can't do something are those who have already given up on their own dreams so feel the need to discourage yours.

February 11, 200917 yr Author There has been little to no development with my case here. I simply lack the confidence to talk to her all that much. It may also be that I feel awkward talking to someone I know so much about. I keep telling myself to approach her, but I almost never do. Also found out today that one of her friends likes me -.-. Yay, let's just add this to the pile of awkwardness! IRC Nick: Hiroki | 99 Agility | Max Quest Points | 138 CombatBandos drops: 20 Hilt | 22 Chestplate | 21 Tassets | 14 Boots
February 11, 200917 yr Author Hope I haven't made her feel uncomfortable. So I'll send her a message on Facebook.... [hide=message]Good evening, morning or afternoon. I know I may have been seen as intrusive concerning this past contingency regarding your family. I am sorry if this is so, and you should know that this was certainly not my intent, and I will in no way attempt to make you feel uncomfortable by any means including the disclosure of information regarding past events to anyone. I don't know how you're feeling, but I do hope that it is not of lachrymose. You should also know that you have the full support of every one of your peers, and if you feel that you should consolidate any of us, there is no need for timidity. You may not want to talk about it, but if you do, I'm right here. February 11, 200917 yr Mmk, why not give this a shot :) This girl has been going to my school for two and a half years now, the first year we never spoke, but the second year she was in three of my classes, and we got to know each other. As the year went on, we had more and more chats, and got to know each other really well (school activities, trips, etc). During one of the trips, I felt we connected well. We had some of moments of long eye-contact and smiling, kind of awkward, but idk. She would laugh at a lot of my jokes and give me a nudge at the same time. After the trips she would say "Hi!" to me in the hallway every time we saw each other and smile, and would often ask me questions about schoolwork. As well, she would start random conversations with me, and she seemed a bit nervous. So I don't know if any of the above is a good sign, or just her being a friendly person. The weird thing is that her facebook personality is a mystery to me. She will write on my wall a message like, "[my name]!! What's up?" and other enthusiastic/friendly things. I reply in the same hour and never get a response, or she takes a week to reply (but I notice that she replies to her girl friends instantly). So, I get the feeling nothing's really happening. Since I really don't have much experience with this kind of thing, I thought I'd just post this and see what you all think about it. Want to help the Tip.It Crew? Try talking about her interests, show that you are interested in learning about her, but don't let the conversations get repetitive or dry, most importantly, if she changes the subject focus on it, even if you wonder why she changed the subject all of a sudden. Thanks for the advice :) The problem is I'm abroad for a year and I have 6 months left, so my only method of contact is Facebook. I'm worried she's already lost interest, seeing as I have been gone for 7 months, although most of our wall-to-wall during those months is strong :P Want to help the Tip.It Crew? It's not a big fight just a "I really don't want to talk to you right now" moment. I have to admit, I'd be about as pissed as you are if I were you. On the other hand, you and Brent have a child now (an a cute one at that) and in his position, I wouldn't want to piss off my boss either. I would have immidiatly apologized to you, if not called you back, but he's just being responsible. Getting in good wit hthe boss increases probablility of raises/promotions. And when you have kid, opurtunities like that are best taken advantage of. You're both right. Fighting isn't going to prove anything. February 11, 200917 yr Well i pulled my self up by my boot straps and got myself the hell out of depression. That allowed me to grab hold of my courage and finally go up and start flirting with that girl. I really must have been at rock bottom, i can't believe what a pansy i was -.- and all the time i wasted. Well just letting you guys have an update. Have a good day all, -War Junky 91

February 11, 200917 yr Good boy. Realizing what a pathetic [bleep] you are is actually the first step. Sure helped me. I realized that being here, on the INTERNET has helped me, I dunno, come out of my shell? How odd. Actually i really didn't realize it till I was out of the depression. Took a heart to heart with my closest friend and quick kick in the pants from my dad and i got out of it, suprisingly fast. Yeah and i can see why the internet can help you come out of your shell, you have no face, you can't be found if you don't want to be (to an extent) and there are thousands of places to start a new if you screw up somewhere.
February 11, 200917 yr True, it just seems like I'd be broken into something like one of those guys who spend all their time on 4chan. Instead, I love music, my friends, learned how to type good, learned a lot of life skills, and even grew a stronger lust for wandering and adventure. So crazy. Internet - 0 Me - 1. Or...Over 9000? February 11, 200917 yr Thanks for the support guys. We haven't really made a big deal out of what happened because I can see where he's coming from just annoyed more than anything. There is a little more to the story. I found a porn movie on the computer and we have an agreement that there is no watching any of it unless we watch it together, otherwise it really defeats the purpose. It was in the internet history, and what's worse is that it's connected to a local sex site. He swears he's never been there but I just can't believe him for the simple fact that I've had a look at how it works and you need to actually go to the website, then find the video, then click on the video to even have it come up in history. And for the simple fact that it doesn't just grow magical legs and walk there by itself. It is a big deal to me because we're engaged, I want to know why the hell it's there and whether he's lying. Lying at this stage of the relationship would mean the engagement is called off. I also have a lot on my mind atm about the next surgical procedure. There is a chance of a blood transfusion needed or even death  I haven't been able to sleep all night. I'm still bleeding and am having liver difficulties from the last one. Thanks for all of your support but I really wish Ginger was here. He was my rock. War_Junky, it wasn't depression, you were just a tad sad. And yes, you were a pansy, but good on ya for realizing it and getting past it. The internet NEVER helps one get out of a shell. It is a shell in and of itself. Made of titanium. Three inches of the stuff.
