Noob: Ifz I giv u meh run armur kan i hav dat maske?!?!!!11 Me: No. Me: Sorry. Noob: Noob!!!11one Noob: I havs MOAR monuy den u enyways n00b!!1 Me: Fear my leet skills. (yes you can say that on quick chat.) And with that, the noob runs off. 5 minutes later I'm happely killing rock crabs when my friend logs on and follows me! Friend: Hey man, how's it going? Me: (okay now... how do i tell him i'm muted...) I'm having a bad day. Friend: Why? Me: :-l Friend: err... k Friend: How did you get those elidinis robes again? Me: Sorry. (ffs...) Friend: You won't tell me? I thought I was your friend man... Me: Sorry. Friend: What ever have a nice life... -deletes and hops world- Me alone:... I'm having a bad day. There you have it, a simple option "I'm muted" in quick chat would have saved me all the trouble. Nobody besides people muted use quick chat so why not add the I'm muted option? Like DAn said however, it should only be for the muted community. My relaxation method involves a bottle of lotion, beautiful women, and partial nudity. Yes I get massages.
July 26, 200817 yr i support, but untill they add it in you can always make your clan chat say "im muted" or something along those lines and tell the person to join your clan chat. one of my friends was muted and used this and it was pretty smart : 1 defence pure pvp vid 1: Proud to have achieved 97 cooking F2P
July 26, 200817 yr Support fully Its stupid that this wasnt implimented in the first place as the key demographic of quick chat users must be muted people, Theres a fine line between not listening and not caring,I like to think I walk this line every day. Pinning blame on Jagex is like trying to put pants on an old man. You both know he needs them, but he'll just keep dancing around, avoiding them at all costs.
